How do Fellow Cachers feel about a trend I've noticed involving New Caches published, where a person looks for the cache but because they did not find it puts a note on the cache page instead of login a DNF ?
I ask this because if you log a DNF this is added to the cache page but if you log a note you can delete it so it looks as if you have not looked for it in the first place ! is this a fair way of doing things ? your opinions please.

Hi, i am flying to Austria in September landing in Innsbruck and wondered if there are any TB hotels close to the Airport.
I will be staying in Seefeld, so if there is a cache able to accomadate a TB in this town even better. I apologise for being an ignorant
Englishman who never botherd to learn any other language other than his own. But i now find myself at the mercy of some kind soul
who hopefully will take pity on me and furnish me with this information. Thank You in advance.

Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible to delete a geocache from your GPS once you have downloaded it.
I have a montana 650T, but have found no function for getting rid of Found Geocaches.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

If the GPS in on and charging you should see a lightning bolt flashing on the battery icon (top, right of homepage). If the GPS is off and charging you should see a dim Garmin with a battery icon below and percent of battery charge below the battery icon.
Thank you, Its Just as i thought, the charging adapter is not working there is nothing on the unit in either off or on.
I will will have to contact garmin for a replacement. Thanks Again Bob

when connected to the mains. the Lithium batery states its a third full but never
seems to change even though its been on charge for some time.

Bob-
I strongly suggest that you get familiar with your new GPS and use it to find a few caches near home before you try to use it on holiday. There's a forum section below (GPS and Technology) where you can get good help with questions specific to the unit you have.

Thank You for the advise Nancy

Wherever you plan to go you will need to look up the caches for that area and install them into your GPSr.
It would help to know what GPSr you have.
Sorry yes i have a Garmin Montana 650T. Thankyou for your reply
Bob.

Thanks for all the replies
My thoughts where simply that if you failed to find something, that does not been that it was not there, so no shame in login a DNF, but why bother leaving a note and then deleting it, when you could just put it on your watch list.
