All you need is a PDA and phone that are bluetooth enabled. Then you can use the phone as a modem to connect to your ISP. You can also get a PDA with a cable to connect to your cell phone that will do the same.

Any chance that there will ever be a way to include benchmark notes in a downloaded waypoint file? It would be nice to have the reference points listed in the USGS database when recovering a benchmark.

What about pictures of landmarks that are mentioned and unencrypted in the description of the cache?

I won an eTrex Legend C and auto power adapter at a sporting clays shoot this past weekend. When I got home, I noticed the power adapter was broken. I emailed Garmin on Monday and received a message back that they would be sending me a replacement adapter and that I didn't even need to return the old one. To my surprise, I get home today (Thurs) and the adapter is at my doorstep. I couldn't have asked for better service!

Seeing as I won the unit Saturday, I'd wager this is the case.

I have a pendent with the medical symbol and a microfilm inside with MUCH more history than can go on a piece of paper. Also have a card with the same microfilm in my wallet, along with a regular card with vital information. The microfilm can be read with a magnifying glass. It had allergies, medical history, doctors names/numbers, contact info, etc, etc... If you're serious about wanting your medical information with you, I would suggest looking into it.

Hmm...that's the only time I've seen that. I have WAAS enabled. Any ideas as to why today is the only time I've seen that?

Today I was out looking for a cache and noticed my GPS was acting really strange. It was showing 10' and then instantly 50' away without me moving. The Sat screen was showing 14' accuracy, but there was the letter "D" at the bottom of all my signal strength bars. Has anyone seen this before?

My first was an Appolo Precedus which I used when flying. It was THE thing back then. Full Jeppeson charts, 10 nearest airports at the push of a button, runway extension, airspace warnings, etc.
