Probably a 1 way hinged door to insert the cache. Look at the top photo, top right corner. There's a small hole just large enough to re-insert the nano. Sure you might be able to jiggle it out that way, but I doubt it. the hole in the top is just big enough for the nano to pass through you would spend longer trying to get it out of this hole than you would doing the hole maze I have handed a few friends the maze to do and it has taken them 2-3 minutes to complete so it’s not too hard One thing I do need to do is cover the exit, so you don’t drop the nano when it reaches the exit (I am thinking about a sliding door so you can hear the nano when it hits it)

Isn't that what the small hole is for that is mentioned above the first picture? look at text above first pic (Start point (when nano retrieved from the exit the cacher replaces it through the small hole ready for the next cacher to fined)) there will be instructions on the box when its deployed

What material is that made out of? Is there a gasket between the two halves? My best guess is a material they use for decking. Trex makes them He did say it wasn't done. The material is recycled plastic board And the bottom is sealed with silicon and the top has a gasket made from the inner bladder of a old rugby ball The box will be in a large clip lock box when I deploy it supplier link

This is a new cache that I have just finished I have not decided where to place it yet The instructions will say you need to take a spanner and if you do not sign the log book you will not be able to claim it

This is a cache I have just made on a similar theme. It is made from recycled plastic border so will not rot over time (hopefully) To open the box you have to remove the perch, then the internal box with the cache drops out I may add some cord to stop it falling to far

Awesome paint job! I love stone spray, but I lack the skills to apply it effectively. Did you use any kind of sealant to keep the polystyrene from degrading? I have just spray painted straight onto the ball. as of yet I don't know how well it will hold up to the weather I think what Clan Riffster was refering to, is that the propellant in spray paint attacks many types of foam. Probably used latex or acrylic paint. Solvent based paints will eat polystyrene. I used a product from PlastiKote Link to home page on the high density polystyrene ball. The paint has not dissolved the ball even though I didn’t use a primer as the web site suggested (will have to wait and see how it stands up)

Nothing wrong with that! You could bury a school bus on your property and call it a cache, perfectly acceptable. My question is what happens when the christmas tree is installed? The cache will be rapt as a Christmas present and placed at the base of the tree with all the other decorations

Why is there a pipe in front of a window? Kinda' ruins the view no? I would agree but it is a pubs ladies toilet with frosted glass and it is 7ft of the floor so you can’t see out of the window any way.

I believe it's the second one that doesn't go all the way to the ground. Well spotted Here’s a close up The black disk is part of a spindle that runs through the spout which is turned by a wing nut on the back of the spout. As the wing nut is turned it lowers the cache from the spout

Here is my first cache that I have placed Before the cache police start having a field day, this cache is in my front yard in a false grid that holds the 12ft Christmas tree that stands here through December. The grid has been there for eight years before I placed the cache in it and I also informed the reviewer of what and where the hide was. Hop this alleviates any problems you may have with this location, pointy objects being used ETC
