The number on the coin is a unique number for the purpose of logging the coin when you have found it The TB number is the number that is used when you wish to track the coins movements and is not logable

I have had a series of 12 caches + a bonus, out in the Bala area of north Wales, they were published in April 2012 and have already amassed 80+ favourite points. The GC code for the first in the series is GC3FQY4

As an option would be a better idea

I had the same problem at first You need to click on the “i” icon on the bottom left of the map (turning it blue), then left click on the map, next click on show labels Hope this helps

I have just tried the new version (v0.6.1), it took me a few minutes to figure out that you needed to right left click to bring up the menu. But once I had discovered that the new improvement is great thanks for all your hard work Just one thing, is it possible to get the cache name rather than the GC number I appreciate all the work that has gone into the script and I don’t know how much work this request would involve Thanks again for the work so far

What to do if you find cannabis plants
martin&lindabryn posted a topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
While attempting a 4.5 difficulty rated cache a few days ago, which entailed battling through dense undergrowth, of brambles, thorny trees and nettles, I came across at least 12 cannabis plants being cultivated in a small clearing. My questions are, 1. What would you do if you came across them? 2. What should I do? -

Nice to see that my idea has inspired other people to make caches with a difference May I make one observation? It may be worth covering the exit, so that the nano is not dropped on the floor and possibly lost during the shaking proses. This happened to me a few times while I had friends testing it before it went live. Good luck with you cache -

Wood swells when wet. Make sure you have enough clearance to compensate for it swelling after weeks/months of rain/snow etc. Maybe a resin or pvc container would be better? Submerge the plug in water for a couple weeks and see if it still fits there is a lot of clearance for the wood to swell -

A new cache that I am about to be deployed The wood block, with the cache inside, is dropped into the top of the pipe, which will be secured to a fence post. Using the holes drilled into the pipe, you work the block up the pipe, using the screwdrivers provided -
The owner has marked this TB as missing on 20/10/2011 So I think he/she will be very happy that it has reappeared I suggest that you log it as found and right where you found it in the log Then you can send it on its way to a new cache

Hi I like your idea and I am glad you used my idea for inspiration. My Cache has gone live Its amazing | GC3AH23 The cache is going down well so far, taking people about 5 minutes to solve the maze once found As you can see from the pictures of mine in this thread you cannot see into the maze and you do not get a clue as to the layout Looking at yours, the path to the end is not too complicated and should be easily solved without being able to see the path. If you can see or have a plan of the maze then it will take a matter of seconds to complete Which for me would make the effort of making it, and the effort of going to find it, disappointing. I found a good way to test my maze, was to give it to friends and ask them to solve it, before it went out in the field , If they can solve it, then it can be done in the field -
