Wow, way too much text for me to actually read the whole thing, but scanning through, I didn't see info on how to actually order one of these great coins. Is this just a post to let people know it's coming out? I love Royal Tyrell Museum - great place to visit, and would love to get one of these coins, I just haven't figured out how yet.

Pewter might be my favourite, but antique silver would be a close second. The shiny coins make it hard to see the detail. In general, I keep the silver-coloured coins for my collection and trade off the gold when there are limited editions of different metals.

I have been involved in the sale of 2 conis so far - the New York state coin (1000 minted), and my own personal coin (500 minted). Neither had a limit on the number that any individual could order, but I'd say at least 90% of the orders were for 1-4 coins. If I were selling a coin that had only 100 minted, I would likely limit it to 1 per person.

I'd be interested in trading personal coins when you're ready too.

Speaking of the Georgia-Ontario coin, I think I got the best tracking number of the bunch. I don't want to post exactly what it is (to avoid virtual logging), but let's just say that it could be read as... ON for GA Wonder if I can get one that says ON for ON from the group out of Ontario.

It is my understanding that one of the local organizations in Ontario is now working on their own coin, but as far as I knew, it is not finished yet. The existing Ontario coin was made by a group out of Georgia that included people originally from Ontario.

I will definitely trade personal coins with you ChileHead. As for the $2 shipping, it seems that everyone is being charged that. As soon as I have everything sorted out here, I will start issuing refunds for the additional shipping charge.

I have sent an email to the admins at Cointracking.com to make them aware of this problem. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong or a glitch in their system, but I will make sure that everyone that is charged the extra shipping fee gets that refunded. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, I don't know why it's adding $2 shipping when I set it up to be $0. I'll have to check with the guys at Cointracking about that one. I will refund the $2 to anyone that was charged it. Otherwise you can email me and I will send you the PayPal info separately and just mark your order as paid.

What is your preference between Satin Nickel finish and Antique Silver finish? I was told that antique silver would tarnish, whereas satin nickel would not. I'm not sure what satin nickel finish is. Anyone know of a geocoin that was made with that? I am looking for a silver-color finish that is not too shiny, yet will show detail on a side with no color. I like the way the antiqued finish gives it a shadow effect. Hopefully that makes sense. I appreciate your input.
