Sitting here thinking and it occured to me that our cache GC17E9E hasn't been found since March 8th which is Mrs.Kwver's! birthday...no caches have been posted in our neighborhood today so for someone daring here is a 5 hour 50 minute challenge...Find GC17E9E before midnight 12/10/09...log it and take a picture of yourself and the log...and you win $20.00...First time finders only!

Sandy came home today with our 2010 planning calendar so I'm
anxious to block-out some important dates for next year.
Possibly you already know the date, time, and place for the 2010
Szar Fôyô Smackdown Anniversary Event. Sure wouldn't want to
miss the event next year, looking forward to my own letterman
jacket instead of that cheesy polo shirt I got this year.
You can just email me with the information so's the whiners don't
start shedding tears all over again.

Yea, 2009 has been quite a year! We will be glad to start all over 2010...Seems like a few events have already been posted in January and February...When is the Superbowl anyway? Am thinking about getting a corporate stadium hospitality suite for all of us to watch the Chargers win it all! Maybe Gobolts! would even show up! If the Chargers spoil our fun we may find another pizza joint and all get together and talk about the day Kwvers! got Smacked down....I'll be sure to let everyone else know about the 2010 event this time.. Congrats to Sue and Pat of The Fat Cats. They finally logged their 6000th find on Betty Boops Tool Box. I'm just glad I was there with them too when they found it. It was definitely a comical adventure as we were finishing our caching weekend after the camp out. Way to go ladies!

I sure was relieved today when I found out why I didn't get a shirt or a jacket. Oh boy, I tell ya, I was starting to think I was missin' out on everything ... but then the kwvers! drove up to my house today in THIS!

While they were visiting, I happened to have some freshly baked PUD cake. I served some refreshments and was informed I needed to catch up on the forums ... apparently someone called my dear friend Mrs. Kwvers! a naughty naughty thing. I still find that hard to believe. If anyone here could help me by telling me which post # it is, that sure would help me out. I'm kinda busy with all of my holiday prep, shopping, baking, n' all that kinda thing. If someone really said something naughty about my dear sweet kind friend ... well, that just ain't gonna be a good thing now is it. I might have to scroll ..

I've had more fun with that crazy Smackdown event than I deserve, and
the bleeding stopped right away. The scratches and bruises took a while
longer.
Hard to beat our San Diego gang for fun and frolic. Who would have thought
back in 2001 that Geocaching would lead to so many friendships with such
a swell crowd of people?
You guys and gals can dish it out with a flare. I especially admired the Cat &
Bobby comeback to my line of bull about the Smackdown shirts, classic in
every sense. Last night my pillow starting whispering to me once again, more
or less along the line of "Harmon, have you gone too far with your wisecracks?"

Congratulations to Jahoadi and John for their cache-a-day streak of 3 years and 9 months.
Sadly it came to an end on November 9th, but instead of lamenting the end of the streak, I choose to celebrate the streak's duration for it had a life of its own - it was quite an accomplishment. Congrats guys!
You guys are our heros!! Just can't imagine finding a cache every day for 3.9 years............WOW!
We remember you talking about the crazy routes you took home from work so that you could grab
a cache. Chuy! said it best, " I choose to celebrate the streaks's duration, for it had a life of it's own!"
Congratulations J&J!!!!............................................................now you can RELAX ~

For gosh sakes Jodi, I can't believe that you turned out to be
a quitter. Worse yet I note that you tried to shift the blame off
onto poor John. For cryin out loud, you had a five-year string
in your pocket and let it slip through your fangers. What am I
goin' t' do with you?
Now you'll be an old lady by the time you get back to where
you left off. Still, take heart, once upon a time I had my own
cache-a-day string going just like you and John. Must have
been a month or more during the 2006 MTRP Cache War.
This sets a bad example, next thang we know that Kwvers pair
will drop out before they reach 50,000 finds. After all, we look
up to you front-runners.

So, I guess I'm gonna need to check um out...Wonder how many and how many days it will take..All inquires welcome.
I did a quick queries for the Goleta area within a 20 mile radius and only came up with 35 puzzles, Have e-mailed the challenger and requested an official querie for the challenge...

I'll be heading out to the Desert Event early tomorrow (Friday) morning, and my plan is to do the Journey To Domelands and nearby caches. I would love some company if anyone else would like to join me on this incredible hike...
