Here is a short guide to download a single cache to a Garmin Oregon (450) on a Mac:
1.
Go to the cache page required, and click GPX File (highlighted. It should then download and is visible in the Downloads dialog box if using Safari.
2.
Got to Finder, select 'Today' from the left hand panel and find the GPX file. Select it, then press Cmd+C to copy it.
3.
Select your Garmin from the Desktop.
4.
Once the Garmin is open in finder, go Garmin -->GPX --> and then press Cmd+V to copy it.
Eject your Garmin by dragging it to the recycle bin, and now the GPX file should be on your GPS.

On a Garmin sat nav go Search --> Coordinates

I use the same website as you. It's not that much effort. After you set it up (which you have), when you get some new finds, all you do is download the new pocket query and upload it to the website, which takes about 2 minutes. I only re-upload every week or fortnight depending on how much I cache, so not much effort really. You don't need to copy and paste the html coding each time, just refresh your browser to clear the data cache once you've uploaded the new PQ to the website. But I do agree that adding the official GS statistics to your profile page would be a good option. Also, GS tend not to recognise things like Jasmer and FTFs, so I wouldn't count on them appearing, but you never know
Edit for bad grammar

I think an option to use Bing maps would be good, but maybe they charge like Google?
In another thread I posted that Bing may cost up to twice as much as Google
Didn't see that, sorry!

Yep, these new maps are great...

I think we have a winner...
You laugh. I'm just dreading the day some yahoo puts a small booby trap on a cache. I wonder if there has ever been a call to the Police about a possible bomb that turned out to be a Geocache.

It's stile.
I'm in West Sussex, now I'm going to check all of my cache listings for the spelling !

I used an Android phone with the official app for my first 120ish finds and just got a GPS (Oregon 450). I have to say that the GPS is much better. It is easier to use and quicker at loading, more accurate, etc. and doesn't require the use of mobile data to load cache descriptions/maps. I got mine quite cheap (£200) so its worth having a look around if you do decide to get a GPS.

As for my so-called arrogance.....I have nothing to prove to the likes of you.
.......
I have over 7200 finds, have cached in 9 states, have done 3 Delorme Challenges, 3 State County Challenges, numerous other challenges, have over 350 FTF's, and have 123 hides.
OK.....

Keep on travelling...

This beauty arrived today, sadly without its activation code.
That is easily found.
Do you plan to send it out, make it a mileage tracker, or let people discover it at events?
Sorry for the slow reply, I have made it a mileage tracker: Clicky

On my phone, without internet but with GPS, the maps don't load but the GPS is still accurate and will tell you how far you are, just without the benefit of the seeing the map.

I won't be able to meet but the caches around here are quite good!

It's probably OK. The other day one of the caches on a new series I put out had a DNF for the first three cachers, but I was confident it was there so I knew the next would probably find it (which they did).

Of course we're amateurs here in the UK... this one in Russia is a regular... not found... placed 28th July... 2001
Nice one

I also pondered this question .

I once had to outrun a herd of cows, jumping over the stile. Only when I got into the following field I was chased by sheep. What a fun walk .

Horsham, my home caching town. Unfortunately I don't know which cache this is referring to, but I still haven't found half of the caches in Horsham yet...
