Found it 01/25/2014
Not found as not here. Can I count this one?
-------------
Didn't find it 01/20/2014
Obviously a DNF as I knew it wasn't there. I was (kind of) passing with someone who'd found it before and we stopped for a look as it's an interesting story. What a really odd place!
Owner Maintenance 01/15/2014
Managed to get round and check out the damage today. There is no sign of the lid so will need to find replacement container - bear with me!
This one is Temporarily Disabled.
The log at the bottom is the CO, who checked on it before the new person "found" it.
The log in the middle is a sensible person saying he knew he would DNF as it wasn't there, but he wanted to show a friend the special location.

Action Challenge: Perform a task at a location
Photo Challenge: Take a picture doing something specific at a location
Aren't those both the same thing, except that in the second one someone takes a picture of you doing it?
Not all photo challenges require you to do something specific at the location. One could, for example, require you to take a picture of a building or a sunset. But all photo challenges are supposed to require that a photo be taken.
Not all action challenges require you to take a picture. One could, for example, require you to play a game of chess at a specific location. But all action challenges are supposed to require that some sort of action be performed.
So, if I want someone to do something (turn up in costume) at a particular location, and have their photo taken as proof ... ?

A few years ago I know that a lot of Caches were set to PM in and around Northamptonshire, the reason for this happing was due to an individual who was going around maliciously removing Caches and baiting the owners / community about them. In this case TB's coins and Caches went for good so PMing them was probably the only option. Not sure if this is the reason in your area.
We've recently had that happen to one of our caches, in the Peterborough area, along with a mean-spirited log on the cache page, (which the reviewer deleted and told us about.)
Although we didn't want to have to do it, it's much easier to set our caches to Premium Members only for now, rather than have to go round replacing them all in the future. (PM setting makes the cache page virtually empty.)

Just tried to publish a webcam cache.
No-one told me they don't exist any more ...
Mystery at the Museum: Why is the case closing so soon?

In common with, I suspect, many other rookie detectives, I am expecting to end today with 15 jewels in my possession. However, unless I find a further 35 random caches by the end of tomorrow, the detective apparently doesn't want them back? So, does anyone want to give a home to one of my jewels and help me share the wealth??
(More importantly, what is the detective really up to? Has he been given his P45 and is being forced to "retire"? This is sounding more suspicious, the more I think about it .... )
Back in the real world, a practical question: @Geocaching HQ, why is this promotion ending so soon?
Lots of children are still on school holidays until the end of August.
As many cachers are likely to have their summer time-off later in the month as those who have already had it. (In the UK, we have a public holiday weekend still to come.)
I guess what I'm saying is: I really enjoyed the strategy involved in the first stages of the challenge. I wouldn't mind being hit with the requirement to find 35 more, if I was given the time to enjoy doing so.
