To those whose names I received. I won't be sending out my missions until after I return from vacation most likely. But that means it will arrive closer to Halloween! To those who received my name. I have not been able to buy any recent coins and haven't watched very closely because its hard to look and not be able to buy. I do have a seeking list but it is out of date. So don't obsess over what to send me since I know it may be hard to do. I'm sure I will like it!

I haven't recived it either and ordered on the first day. I know several people here in SE Michigan that have received one. I hope that Murphy's Law takes effect here and that mine will arrive in the mail tomorrow. LOL

The site is not completed yet. When fully up and running the owner says that you will be able to log that you found one. They aren't trackable though. Basically consider it as cool swag and trade for it as you would other swag.

A friend of mine has asked me to sell her collection as she is getting out of coin collecting. (Just so you know it is not GPXNavigators though.) I know that she has some really nice coins including some compass rose coins, yemon yime etc. dating up to about 2009) I don't have all the coins in my possession at the moment so I can't give a full list yet but I do have a pretty hefty bag full of coins here. Actually she has some that I have never seen before (Amazing I know! LOL) Some will be listed here for sale. Maybe some will be posted on facebook and some on ebay. If there are specific coins you might be looking for let me know and I will look at what I am sorting through right now to see if she has it. Most of her coins aren't activated. I'd love to join but at this point international shipping is beyond my budget with all the things I have going on currently.

I've been told by a source in the know that a project like this requires 3 months minimum. The mints are now so busy that they pay no attention to "rush" orders. Getting people to respond by deadlines is also a problem unless the group is limited to a few people.

I agree with nevadanick.... the beginnings of geocoins, some obscure tokens as all this was forming, personal sig items some as rare as hounds teeth all still surfacing from time to time. I have always relied on those who went before us for the connection and the meaning of these early coins. Do stop in, say hi..... there is some encyclopedic knowledge not to be found elsewhere and a huge base of new collectors that would benefit. +1

I talked to a couple of people and haven't heard of one. Unfortunately I think now we may be beyond the time that the mint could actually do it.

I have a few more coins and tags on ebay that end tomorrow evening. I only have a few more things to auction for her so please bid or go directly to her fundraiser site that I posted in the OP and donate directly. Do you still have a personal left? I'd be interested in one also. I think the copper is cool but any is fine. I'd scratch off the number of that coin and drop it somewhere. I've had that happen I think with 4 different coins.

It may be more work but I think you would get more in total if you sell them individually. Speaking personally I could probably afford one or maybe two but no way could I afford to buy all 8 at once.

According to Hans we should still be getting a "bonus" coin. The tag was on top of that.

Yes a pic would help because I am curious. lol But a quick way to find it is to type in the tracking number as if you are going to activate it and it will show the name and the icon if any before asking for the activation code.

Love some of these little guys! Sad that I couldn't do a version right now but maybe I will be able to find a trade somewhere. Looking forward to seeing pictures of all 50 versions!
