1. A lot of muggles, 2. more caches in the future and 3. do not accidently knock it into the water are all: 'I'll get to it when I can', reasons for me. Not a top priority.

So, to answer the op, create your own group, there seems to be some interest in it. Just don't mention it here.
OP, if you do find or organize a gay geocaching group, please feel free to mention it on these forums.
Sorry, I forgot the smilie.

The nearest footbridge to me actually warns you in the description to be careful not to drop it into the traffic below.

Read the story recently about the two hikers attacked by the bear? She had cubs and defended them. Killing the guy and just shaking his wife around a bit. I ain't going into an area where I am not the top predator. Sharks, crocs or big friggin' bears. Ain't gonna' happen. Snakes, spiders and scorpions can hurt me but not kill me by tearing me apart limb from limb. That's my 'issue'. Being eaten alive and watching it happen.

I'm solo on weekdays. I just mark some on a map for my to/from work drives and nab one or two a day. Why the rush for numbers? They aren't going anywhere.

Usually I spend about 2-20 dollars per cache. I got a great deal on 120mm cans (VERY big) which worked out to about 15$ per can. However, I had one cache that ended up costing me about $300 all told. And despite the fact that it really isn't de rigueur, here's the GC code GC2FHZ7. Didn't really have the money for it, but I wanted to do it so bad.
120mm are 10.95 here. A 120mm tube, now that is even bigger (tank round not mortar).

We've got a ton of them here.

Each of my kids swap one or one even or better. I only do bugs/coins. If there are 3 items we want, we swap for 3 items.

I always replace full logs and then e-mail the co if they want the logs back, where to send them. I've got nothing but positive feedback so far.

Sucks even worse when you're the only DNF and it's more then once.

Well, I used to live in Flint, Michigan, north side. Forresthill to be exact. Highest murder per capita right now I think. We left because we were different then everyone else there and were told in no uncertain tone, our kind were not wanted around there. This is America! My grandparents weren't born here and came from Europe to get away from this crap! This city was a model for future cities of diversity back in the 50's and 60's.
We did the smart thing (in my opinion) and moved. The kid that took over my older brother's paper route was killed for his money 8 days after we left. Why were we different? Skin color.

I'm not quite understanding your questions? Please try again.

Well, now that I know I'm fouling things up, I'll drop mine off in the nearest cache.

I've found a wallet and returned it with cash to its rightful owner. I've also found some keys. Maybe you should have a lost and found thread set up or stickied at the top of the forums?

I've got one. Only one I want. Share the wealth and all that.

So now we know at least that someone here has kissed a man and he was Navy. Nothing unusual there.
As others have said, if you are in an area where people hate you for who you are, move. There. Problem solved. Need a group to join? How about we invent a 'I don't give a crap about anyone's orientation or occupation or race, creed, color, faith, Nationality or anything else group? You like to cache? So do I. That's all I care about.

I saw some geocachers yesterday searching a bench.
The first thing that bothered me about them was that they were stretched out under the bench with their legs on the sidewalk, not caring that little old ladies were having to step over them. They were talking loudly about the cache and attracting lots of muggle attention.
I decided to be stealthy myself, and didn't introduce myself. I just sat down on the next bench and pretended to be enjoying the view.
I kept one eye on them, and I did not see them grab the cache, did not see them unroll the log.
Once they got in their car and left I moved over to their bench, grabbed the cache, and unrolled the log to sign it. Nope, they aren't on it. I know this because there are only about 3 other sigs in this log and they are all from cachers I have met.
Oh well, they looked like newbs, perhaps they didn't see the nano that really does just look like a bolt, guess they dnf'd
I came home to log my find, and lo and behold, they logged it online.
I'm a bit annoyed. I'm not the "sign the log nazi" but these guys just really bothered me.
I probably wont rat on them, and just keep calm and cache on, but I felt like ranting today.
You don't want to rat them out but you gave us the info to find them? Don't worry, I'm not as nice as you...

Orange vest works for me.

Are you willing to accept responsibility for someone getting fired over something like this? Why would you put someone in that position? Just because they're management doesn't exempt them from bad judgement calls.
-
Good location.
Good container.
A challenge to find or solve. I just had my 1st fun nano.
-
I wish someone would saturate my area.
...kidding of course....

If the store the property is 'near' is a chain or a franchise, the store manager will not be in a position to authorize a cache unless they own the property themselves. Not likely.
Of course, out of all the caches I've done so far (120'ish), I'd say 80 percent never had permission to be placed.

Since me and the wife went through this exact thing and had to adopt 'A' and 'J', I totally agree. This to me is a lot more insulting then any term I could use against another human being. Now, I need to find that post and rant. Post #23. Got it. If that isn't against forum rulez, something is amiss.
