Quick question. Why do almost all premium members description under there avatar say premium member then under that it says group + premium member? Under mine it only says premium member. Also there is no icon under my avatar for pm's.

I am a pretty new member, but I am hooked. More like addicted. I have 61 finds and just upgraded my membership status to premium. Ive been enjoying the sport with my family (Space Cachers) and by myself. Love the deep hikes through the woods the best but am guilty of picking up park and grabs just to fix. My faveriote things about the sport are in this order. 1. exploring extraordinary, beautiful places I had no awareness of before geocaching 2. the combination of technology and backwoods hiking 3. The organization and ground work all you mad crazy super fantastic cachers have provided for a greenback such as myself. I look forward to a long productive future in the caching community. I figured it out.

I did the upgrades. Now when I press the send to gps button on a cache. I get an error on the 3rd step that says 1) Checking for browser plug-in Plugin version "1.2, Firefox (Win32), Build 541874" found. 2) Connecting to GPS device Attached to: Earthmate PN-40 3) Sending geocache information Waypoint indexing problem. 4) Disconnecting from GPS device Finished.

I registered after reading this post. Still no go.

Thanks for the help. I loaded 2.8 and installed cache register 2.0. Now all I have to do is upgrade my membership.

I just got a great deal on a pn-40. It was running 2.5 and I updated it to 2.7 without reading about firmware 2.7. I just figured I wanted the lastest version. I am now reading that this version does not support geocaching. Do I want to replace 2.7 with 2.6? I am trying to set up my 40 and plan on upgrading my geocaching account to a premium membership. I have been reading all over the net about the pn-40. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
