There are actually two Winterhawks games scheduled for that weekend.
Saturday, December 14, 7PM, vs. Seattle T-Birds
and
Sunday, December 15, 5PM, vs. Spokane Cheifs

Here's the plan:
Group tickets (20 or more people) for Portland Winterhawks Games are $13.50 each. At the Rose Garden they also put the name of your group up on the reader board (that means "GEOCACHING.COM" in lights!).
The Hawks put on a great show, especially against their I-5 rivals the T-Birds! Plus, you get to see potential NHL talent before they hit the big time! All that for less than 14 bucks!

I'd been there twice, and you know what? I didn't have any beer either time... weird.
I truely know of no better place to get white wine with your corn dog. Free cases of Heineken, too. However, that may have been a fluke.
Now I'll need to find a new, off the beaten path, favorite McMennamins, where I won't drink the beer.

Well, after my first week of being back in the swing of things at school I've found the perfect schedule.
Thursday nights are the best for me. No school on Thursdays and I can manage being sleepy at work on a Friday. However, if Thursdays are really bad, I can work something out once a month.
