  1. I don't know if you've already found a GPS unit yet or not, but I've got an Explorist 210 that I'd part with...let me know.
  2. I am trying to sell my Roadmate 300. I know that there are no updated maps yet. He is wondering if you can buy the regional maps and the lake maps on SD and if they will work with this unit. Does anyone know the answer to that question?
  3. Yellow Etrex, mint condition. Cable and case included. $65 shipped.
  4. I have a Yellow Etrex in mint condition. It will come with a case and a cable (serial port). $65 shipped.
  5. Not really a garage sale issue anymore, but for those that were interested...my Rino's were shipped today...for the price that they had advertised.... pays to follow through and be persistant I guess.... I guess the business had been sold and they recently cleaned house of a couple of employees. When they were going through offices, they found correspondence between the better business bureau and several other people. Maybe others will get theirs as well!!!
  6. I have a yellow etrex, quick start manual, with a data cable and a case (camera case, but work just fine) that I could sell for $65 shipped....
  7. Anyone want a good started unit? You could make an offer....
  8. I have for sale this cute little yellow etrex! I can send pictures if people want them. I have not had it very long and have only used it on one cache, but 6 GPS units is too many in the house! There are no scratches on the screen and it works beautifully. I do not have full instruction manual, but I think it can be downloaded from Garmin's website. I will include the quick start guide. I would like to get $60 for this unit. I can not accept paypal, only a money order.... Thanks!
  9. How do I find out if this unit is WAAS enabled? Is there somewhere in it that tells me or do I just try to pick up satellites 47 and 35 (or whatever they are)? I am going to sell it and I know someone will ask me. It has version 2.14 on it. Can that be upgraded on the garmin site to the 3.5, or it that upgrade only for units that have 3.0 and higher?
  10. I would be interested too...how much are you asking?
  11. Owatonna, MN checking in!
  12. If it's still available, I'll send payment!
  13. I sent them an email expressing my extreme displeasure in dealing with their company. There website states they respond to all emails promptly. I have yet to hear back and will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well.....
  14. I did some checking with the Better Business Bureau. Apparently they haven't had any complaints in the past 36 months. I will let the know that at least 5 customers odered these Rino's and we are not happy with how it was handled. They were in and out of stock for 5 days....each day different. I don't know what they can do to remedy it, since now their site doesn't even bring it up except through the link posted here. However, I can certainly let them know that "we" are not happy with them or their customer service.
  15. I got my letter yesterday too...I think it's time to look into this one a little further.
  16. As of 8:00 this morning, it looks like they are selling both models again!
  17. OK...I just ordered 2 120's and it let me go through the whole checkout process, when I brought the original page back up, it said they were sold out....however, it looks like they might still be selling the 110's....
  18. I work with a program that services high risk youth. WE are ALWAYS looking for new and different ideas for recreation. I thought maybe I could get some entry level units and hide some caches for them to find. I don't know that I'd want them to know about the greater caching community as some of them tend to be a tad destructive, maybe I could term is orienteering or something, but this way they would be outside and be forced to work as a team to get something accomplished....anyone want to sell something that could be used for purposes such as this? I would be buying the units out of my own pocket and letting the program use them for now as they have a limited budget, so please be kind... thanks in advance.
  19. I upgraded to a premium membership at least a couple of weeks ago. Today I got an email asking fro validation...I am supposed to go to www.geocaching.com/v/ Is this something that is normal or something I need to delete? I don't want it to be one of those phishing viruses.....
  20. Where are you in Iowa...I'm not far from the Iowa border and could maybe drive to pick it up if that's OK by you...the shipping seems a little high....
  21. I believe the guy at the store said they stopped selling them in 1996...this was probably a return and has been around forever, but for the price...who knows!
  22. How on earth does one get things to go from the computer to the GPS and show up and work? All the geocaches I want are in the stupid gps, but I can't get it to guide me to them...can anyone help me please?
  23. I posted the prices and available units on the previous thread, but here they are again... ok...here are some of the prices on these things. Some of the models they have one of, some they have more than one. The guy explained that 90 percent of the time these are returned because people don't know how to work them....very rarely do they actually have something wrong with them. I will not guarantee any of these units...sort of a take your chances kind of thing. After I mail it, I am done. I also need to figure out how to accept payment.... Explorist - 100 - $65 - 300 - $100 - 400 - $130 (some are bundles that come with a case and Mapsend Topo), some are just GPS - 500 - $150 (color) - 600 - $300 (color) - XL - $300 Sporttrack and Pro - $100 (for those who like the older units) GPS 12 XL - $40 GPS 45 - $20 GPS V - $160 (factory reconditioned) Rino 120 - $200 Rino 130 - $250 Map 76 Cs - $300 Map 76 Cx - $300 eTrex Legend - $100 (regular) Vista Adventure Pack - $250 Venture Cx - $150 Legend Cx - $200 Legend Cx Outdoor Pack - $300 Vista Cx - $255 They had a few random ones here and there, but I figured this list would cover the popular ones.
  24. I am looking for a Geko for my son...he is 3 so I don't want to spend a bunch of money. Do you have one you'd like to sell? Email me which one and how much you are asking. I prefer only those in good condition. Must be in full working order and not have any scratched or cracks... thanks in advance.
