The City Select North America 7.0 update DVD is back up on Garmin's website.

I have upgraded from a Legend to a 60CS and have a question about the backlight given that I plan to use the unit strictly with batteries.
With the use of the Legend, the backlight is only activated when the power button is pressed - it stays on for the length of a setting. To use it again, one simply presses the power button again.
For the 60CS, it appears that once I turn on the backlight with the power button, everytime I press any button on the unit, it will come on for the set duration until I deactivate the backlight by use of the power button again.
Do I have this right? I really only want the backlight to come on the one time when I press the power button. I am worried that if I don't deactivate the backlight after use and subsequently use it during the day, I will be inadertantly turing on the backlight and wasting power everytime I press a button on the unit.

I contacted Garmin over the weekend regarding getting the free update as I unlocked last Thursday. They said I was eligible and to keep watching their site for the V7.0 offering.

I am unable to perform searches with more than one key word - I get an error. Is there some special syntax in perfoming these types of searches?

I also have a new 60CS. It is my understanding that if you setup a goto a address and then go a different way (e.g. to avoid a road under construction), it will update the route as you go for the most direct way relative to where you are. Can someone verify that?
