  1. Personally, I'd like to see the 30 days limit configurable. For someone that finds a lot of caches in a month that probably gives more results that one can easily read. For someone, like me, that occasionally goes a month or more without finding a cache the 30 day limit results in a lot of empty space on my profile page. If I could set it to 90 days instead of 30 my myprofile page would have more content. Yes considering the extent of the history and stats that this site maintains there is no reason why the profile page could not fill the page and drop off the oldest entry as new ones are posted. There are some talented software writers involved a Geospeak considering what they have presented. It may be time to look at some of the day to day issues, simplify TB management when using an I Phone and limits on the profile page, as opposed to keeping track as to what counties you have found caches in across the country. Yes that historical information is nice to have for those trying to fill in the map but it will be a long time before most of us need that when compared to what we did in the last few months.
  2. That is the page I am referring to. I can't believe my activity level dropped so much as to have shortened the list to it's current number of listings. Then again prostate radiation has kept me busy for the last month. Guess I will go out and test a visit. Interesting side light. My I phone, which I had not ever check the log history on before, lists well beyond the last 30 days. Currently back to Aug 24 2012 Thanks
  3. Wow! That is absolutely amazing that I never noticed that until today. All those other times I logged in and checked my history I must have been dreaming or clairvoyant. Well it was great while it lasted. All that information still is available. As Keystone has noted, you can bookmark the page that people have shown you, if you don't want to bother with an extra click. Yes All That Information is available on different pages. That was not my question. My question was and is what happened to the presentation I have seen since I joined Geocaching that showed ALL of my information one the First Page I would open. I showed finds, drops, grabs, visits in sequential order dating back well beyond 30 days. The limit was only that of how many logs would fit on the page not the results of the last 30 days. You are all saying this never happened and that may be from your side but that was not the case on my side. All that information is available on a single page (click here). Make a bookmark out of that link, and it will be the First Page you open. If your standard profile page lost its magical ability to show more than 30 days worth of activity, then you have my condolences. But people have been helpful and provided you with another solution. Use that information or don't. It's up to you. I appreciate Your condolences however I would have preferred a reasonable answer to a simple question. Not sure I have been able to convey the fact that All of the information relating to my activity, finds, drops, grabs, and visits used to be presented on one page and dating back beyond 30 day. That is longer available on a single page. If I was in fact the only person to have had access to this presentation I would suggest the rest of you ask why you never had it. It was a great way to present ones activity.

  6. As far as I know, your initial profile page always has shown your geocaching activity only for the last 30 days. I don't think it has anything to do with your number of finds. Perhaps you previously had only seen 30 days of activity without being aware that it was being cut off? No my question is. Up until now the original display showed ALL of my activities on the front page. This included my finds, my did not find, my drops, my grabs, and any visits I did with a Travel bug. And yes it showed far more than the last 30 days. Something has changed.
  7. Yes I see this but I guess my question is what happened to the original display that showed everything on the same page in sequence? Did I tip the scales when I went over 300 finds? Before that everything showed in one list or has the Mother Ship made a change?
  8. If your profile page always displayed all your geocaching activity history, then it would take a long time to load once you've made thousands of finds. So, it only displays your activity for the last 30 days. As you noted, if you select All, then it will show all your finds. The displayed All Finds page also will give you options to show all Did Not Finds, all Owner Maintenance, all Write Notes, etc. Yes that page displays these items but it doesn't display them sequentially but rather as individual lists. I much preferred seeing ALL of my logs in sequence as it made it essay to relate things in time. Also if I have sent a maintenance note to an owner it makes it easy to track as it is right there in front of me for a while. Are you saying that once I surpassed 300 finds the software just change the format or did something else change it and can I change it back
  9. My Geocaching Logs now only shows the last 30 days> If I select show All it only shows finds and doesn't show other logs such as Visits, Did Not Find and and maintenance note to owners. Why the loss of history?
  10. The problem is back. I have reread this thread and tried all the suggestions note here and no effect. Fire Fox does not ask me if I want to save the UN & PW when i first open the site. Checking the Keep Me Signed In box in Geocaching keeps me signed in as long as the computer remains on but does not reopen Gepcaching.com the next time I open it. In an older thread there was mention of deleting 2 files to address this issue. I can't find that tread so if anyone knows what they are please advise.
  11. I was behind a car at a red light for a couple of minutes one night. They had the reflective kind of TB sticker that shines very brightly in headlights, which washed out the numbers so I couldn't read them. Actually the reason I decides to put one on my trailer was just as a general promotion of the fact that I cache, much like the "OBX" stickers you see for those our frequent the "Outer Banks". If someone that caches see it and records it that is fine. I found my first decal TB from the inside of a fellow cachers trailer while visiting him. Just looked out the window and there it was.
  12. I do see it in my inventory. Where do you see it as My OWNED. Below the TB title "R Shack" it shows "Owner: acachebox". Thanks Guys and Gals Now I just have to go on the road and see if anyone else can find it.
  13. I do see it in my inventory. Where do you see it as My OWNED.
  14. I placed a TB decal on the back of my trailer. Now how do I look it up to see if it is in fact listed. The reference number is TB59MKM I tried the cache number and the tracking number with no results. Is there a time delay before it will show up?
  15. 6 did not bring much to the IPhone 4 so can I go back to the older soft ware and get Google back?
  16. I used the iPhone 4 to find caches on Sunday (the 23rd). I had just downloaded iOS6 the night before. The green pin on the map pivoted, danced and jiggled but the point of the pin remained static. OK it looks like it has to do with IOS6 because I had just downloaded it a few days before. I hope Geospeak can get rid of it. Originally questioned that it might be a very poor Verizon signal because I was out on the fringe, one bar.
  17. Last week or so caches vibrate on the map for a second or two each time I move the map. Is this a problem with my I Phone or the newer software. In either case it is a real pain in the a**.

    Friends

I don't see "the last 2 users" on my friends list. Could you tell me where you're seeing that? Thanks, B. I most have miss quoted as I can't find that statement again. There are 2 members listed as my Friends. I don't know how they got there. Looking at their profiles one lives close by but there is no information of consequence for the other. How did they get there and was i involved in putting them there?

    Friends

I was looking at my details and saw a box labeled "Your Friends" and had "The last 2 users" I ask what this is because I do not recognize those listed and are there more since it stated that they were the last 2?
  20. Not sure this is a technical answer but this is what happened. After all forms of deleting Key3.db, signons.sqlite, and reading all forms of useless articles on Fire Fox it came down to rest setting my cookies management to this. Remember search and history, accept cookies from sites, accept 3rd party cookies, and keep until I close FF. Like I say I don't know why this worked because I am sure they were the setting I had. But now thinks work.
  21. At this point I can get the Forum to save my UN &PW using Fire Fox option. I can not get Geocaching to save it by either FF or the Remember Me function in Geo. I also have the same problem with one other forum. All other web site are OK and will sign me in directly.
  22. Looks like I spoke too soon I removed history when closing FF and now the auto sign in does not work on the Geocaching web site and does not ask if I want to save the UN and PW. However the Forum site did ask to save UN and PW and that works. The problem is with the main site. I signed in yesterday on another computer using FF but did not check the save PW box. This is the problem when I got home. Lost the auto sign in feature.
  23. I wonder if you are confusing the 'password auto-complete' feature in Firefox and the 'keep me signed in' feature from the geocaching.com website. If you are using keep me signed in feature then you will not see any indication in Firefox that the password has been saved. If you want to be sure that you are using the Firefox auto-complete feature then logout of geocaching.com. When you log back in make sure that you leave the check box for keep me signed in unchecked. You point is well taken. I checked the Keep Me Logged In box and I believe that is what is allowing me to auto log in now. However in the past the same UN & PW feature in FF was enacted in the FF tool options and that worked. It will remain a mystery but it is working as to why it is different that all other web pages I use but it is working. Thanks
  24. Is it working now? When did you first discover this (the most recent logging-out problem)? I just now tried it, and discovered I was logged out of both sites, in Firefox. Not unusual, since I don't use FF much, and so it may typically be logged out during one of Geocaching.com's bad days (or whatever "expires" the "keep me logged in" thing on a random basis). But it's staying logged in at the moment. This is a mystery. It is now working even though there is NO indication in Fire Fox that the password has been saved. FF never asked to save the PW and UN it just started working again. This ha happened before and solved itself then just as mysteriously than also but that time FF did show the PW and UN as saved.
  25. My auto log in feature of saved user name and password are gone from Fire Fox when signing into Geocaching.com. Not sure if this is a Fire Fox or Groundspeak problem. It has happened before with Groundspeak and that is why I question where the problem is. My user name and password are saved and do work when signing into the forum. Any ideas?
