  1. Spot on Cat. Nice one....HERE HERE! -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  2. Dan and Me when together met 2 in one day! First were the parents of Christianna doing a maintenaice check. Second was CaptainD- Then there are all the people that have done Travel Bug Clink ....We also showed up at DopdgyDaveds gaff and moved his wheely bin for him but he was slurping ale down his local. Charming! ...would have probably met more if you all didnt sleep so much. -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  3. But where are dan and I? I remember taking a photo of ourselves at this cache! Also remember losing my favourite pair of Sunglasses! Anyone find those in the bushes come to think of that? -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  4. Well will you look at that I come online to look for a driver for a sound card and I got sidetracked a little..... so yep- bneen rumbled this 10meg lease line is just far too gooder oppertunity to miss the excitement of gc.com So then--- what about hte pensioners amongst us? cough cough.....hornet...cough cough.... -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  5. I just noticed something which has probably been brought up befoire when the forums changed but hey what the heck. Theres no intereaction between the forum profiles and the website profiles. I oiften found the ability to click on profile in the forums and be taken to the geocachin.com profile- to be able to see last caches found, hidden etc etc... Now theres none of that as far as I can see...the only way I am able to view what you last found is by going to one of your logs you have made! Shocking. ......or am I just missing something obvious? -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  6. Sorry Golddust whats your point??.....is that really the topic? I wouldnt mind paying for entry toa cache- I wouldnt pay alot to get in for one though- only if I really wanted to visit the place. Like Bletchly Park----- never have wanted to go, and probably never will want to go there so that makes paying for this cache pointless. Ben -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  7. I take my dog called trevor whenever I can....ok I don't have a dog so no unfortunatly not....but I want to take Dans fish out to get Watermead Wetlands 3! -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  8. quote:Pharisee:You can’t submit a posting like this with a mention for Dan & Pid. For shear variety they have to take the biscuit. Perhaps not always the very best caches in the world but never, ever, the worst and always enjoyable. HeHe-- Get real me old mate you know they are the greatest caches in the world by a mile! Well done and keep them coming! maybe you will have to lift up drain covers and search in cow pat fields many more times haha Nice one Pid -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  9. quote:LIS:Not as bad as putting on the cache page that a cache has been replaced, when in fact you had only planned to replace the cache on the coming weekend....!!!!! Yes....Ho hum!! Sorry bout that one but hey there is no use in calling yourself "Lost in Space" if I can't lose you in some space at some point hehe. Its back now by the way your welcome to come and get it! quote:MCL:Dan and Pid, I don't think you are stupid. I think you are nuts. Big difference! Stupidity infers intellect. Nuts implies bravado. No trees were harmed during the production of this posting, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.... Fair enough MCL - won't agree Night caching as a whole requires bravado but...walking through a field that is signed "BEWARE: BULL IN FIELD" in great big red writing in he middle of a 1.06 mile walk to a cache in the pitch black dark! Yes we got egg on our face at the Matson Bicester Clan's latest stint, the buggers! Pid -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  10. quote:SimonG:I agree that in theory hints should pretty much spell out where the cache is, but when you've hidden a cache under a tree in the middle of a forest with nothing else in sight but more trees, it can be incredibly difficult to come up with a useful hint. Good point but I will add something PHoward did when we couldnt find his cache up Keynes Overlook he went bac up there and tied something to a tree......you could also write on a tree with white paint and use that as the clue...hinters or pointers could be done in many ways especially in the middle of a wood- Alternitivly you could jjst pplant it by something a little les obvious. Pid -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  11. Clues that are vague are the most annoying thing since they invented sliced bread! I mean I think everyone should lead by example and do ones like our Hellfires Globe cache....straight and to the point no fussing around just get what you came for... Im all for a challenge hense the night caching but come on guys there is breaching on the ridiculous sometimes... Welwyn Woodlands being one of them - sorry LIS but thats a killer blow mate!!! I might aswell say to you a line out of Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy!!! BUT MCL I will add that never again can I be called stupid for night caching! -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  12. Yep I have I went caching with me mate last night and he drove around the same estate 10 times looking for a parking spot hehehe Those certainly are coincidences...I doubt anyone will have such classics as that! 13. quote:Pharisee's Signiture:Age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. In the daylight maybe.....but in the dark you need your wits about you. I have actually always wanted to go to the Falklands myself....out of interest, what is Port Stanley like? what sort of monuments or view points are there there? and whats the weather like. -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  14. Brilliant if I can get some these tapes dan and I would never have to worry about trespassing ever again -------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bad, I'm Bad you know it you know! www.buckscaching.co.uk
  15. I would never in a million years go to find a cache and then not log it....thats like buying a house and not wanting the keys...LoL. But if people are new and dont know it insideout I can see there point- I guess its our job to teach the new people what to do....and bad clues like "Look in the wood" can't help people like that along the way- chances are they got so frustrated at a sparse clue when they found the cache they didn't log it on principle....(not that I am bitter about vague clues when its dark or anything ) -------------------------------------------------------- When the $@#? hits the fan the torrent will follow!... www.buckscaching.co.uk
  16. Woo Mike me old mate are you sure paul approves of that sig? LoL I say would be a good idea to take caching to the falklands we could call one of them "Where have all the Argies gone" -------------------------------------------------------- When the $@#? hits the fan the torrent will follow!... www.buckscaching.co.uk
  17. Wish you luck when you come over to the UK. There are plenty of nice caches you can do but I think all of them have already been mentioned. Don't listen to Nick and Ali for Kings Cross is a lovely place that is where the king cgot really frustrated and cross -------------------------------------------------------- When the $@#? hits the fan the torrent will follow!... www.buckscaching.co.uk

  21. quote:Can you make sure it's not on July 19th though? I've promised to catsit on that day, and I don't want to miss it! HaHa! I will be holidaying in a place called Beacon Hill near Long Horsley in Late May as I have done for the last 10 years except last year I missed it and before then never knew about caching. Could someone tell me what the closet caches will be and what the not to miss caches are. I dont want to visit and miss out!
