  1. Sorry I was working last night! Hi oa. I hope no one will class this as advertising since it is the answer to the question asked  For a list of good night caches in Buckinghamshire visit http://www.buckscaching.co.uk and press on the big night caching link half way down the page. One you have found a couple you like the look of use the interactive map and the listings to get further details! Hope this helps and that you like scary caches! Don't forget a torch and a spare pair of pants
  2. Good point here but in the end what can you do, its either go out and assume the risks that the world supplies or spend night after night at home. I have to admit that I have wondered many fields with 999 dialed into my phone just a buttons press away :) Maybe its just common sense as to which places should be attempted during which times, although thats rich after what me and Pid did at a certain cache where we were threatened with guns, then went round the back and finished off the cache :)

  3. My old car was a citroen

You want to go back to a Citroen - we get good reception in our Saxo.

    Lisa

I agree, Saxo all the way :P And darn it that car has taken a battering over the last two years and its in fantastic shape, three cheers for citroen, this wasn't advertising honest... Ill get my coat :D

  4. Can anyone clever calculate how long it will take at the present rate of cache placement, for there to be no more than a 0.1 mile gap between caches in England?!? perhaps its been done before, if so please point me in the right direction. I wonder what will happen when/if there are just too many caches? Will there be a limit put on it like the amount of Children people in China can have!?!

  5. Hmmmm i've got a thousand things with Passwords and usernames going down too. I have only got a couple of variations and generally I just choose something really hard and use it continuosly. This way, you never forget it, and no one will ever guess it!?! works for me anyway, or perhaps this is actually someone who hacked into my account writing this...

  6. Like Mr & Mrs Hedgehog said:'Geocachers come from a wide selection of people and so each is looking for something different' I totally agree with this. When I hide a cache I always try to make sure it has 'something', either interesting History, folklore or views. My least favourite type of cache are those which are placed in a random field or wood with no meaning behind them.

When it comes to cache contents this doesn't bother me, There are only so many things that you are willing to part with when placing a cache and so when finding them I don't expect to find anything of great desire or importance to be honest, ofcourse the odd find will turn up a treat or two but it's rare, and I don't mind in the slightest. Provided the contents are safe and appropriate theres no need to moan. I'm here to cache, not to be picky.

I think its quite obvious when you've planted a good cache, if you don't get that urge to rush home and see who finds it first then you've most probably just planted because you wanted 1 extra for your tally. I look forward to doing any which offer me the chance to see something I might never otherwise see, or give me the chance to explore somewhere wierd. Most of all I like getting the creeps, night caching all the way icon_smile.gif

  7. Its totally up to you how much info you want to give, just make sure to adjust the difficulty rating appropriately. If there is no clue whatsoever then I would like to think that a cache be rated more highly in that department, It drives me mad when i'm in the middle of a wood with no clue and its a 1 star! Some people like big hints and some don't but in the end its the variety that makes caching what it is so follow your heart!
