  2. You can do a google search with a description or name and a jpg. You might find a clip art picture to start and modify to what you want.
  3. I enjoy reading the logs. Some funny stories might be found there. I really like to check the last entry to see how long ago the last find was made, weeks, days or minutes.
  4. There is a small cafeteria where I work. The ladies there save the one gallon mustard and mayo containers for me. They have the wide screw on lids. They also gave me a bunch of 1 gal. containers with snap on lids that salad dressing comes in. A never ending supply of containers. Best thing is they are FREE! 6. We have two etrex yellows. One for me and one for my son. Boys can't share one toy, so we have to have two!

  8. quote:Originally posted by Markwell: If I had the day off to travel I'd even consider meeting you for a cache day, but the drive is 2 hours to Peoria from me (although I wouldn't mind finding some of the newer ones in that area - even Jubilee Creek. Thanks Markwell. That is kind of you to consider driving all the way to Peoria. But you don't have to do that. Maybe I'll grab a cheap rental car to hunt down a cache and see the local area. I have been there may times before on business with Cat and have seen most of the downtown attractions. It would be nice to venture out. Thanks again, Alan
  9. I will be visiting Peoria on April 7,8 and 9. I have Sunday the 7th free and thought it be fun to find a cache or two. Might even bring a travel bug out from California. I will not have a car and will be staying downtown. Are there any caches within walking distance of the downtown area? Thanks, Alan

  12. I took a picture...of my son holding our first find. Didn't take anything out of the cache. The picture is worth more than anything we could have traded for. [This message was edited by S Sac Al on March 09, 2002 at 11:24 PM.]

  14. I have the FRS radios and a CB, but no ham. I have yet to see any other cachers close enough to use the FRS.
