  1. South of Merced?!! Too scarry. I'm afraid of falling off the edge of the earth and that would surely do it! :D:(

Does going north of Lodi have the same effect on you???? :(:DB)

    Hi Bill B)

Now, in all fairness... most of the last caches that I've found where North of Lodi! :D:( Hi Alan. I always know when you're coming onto this thread because all the fish hide. B)B)

OK...you got me on that one. I'll swim away now...... B)

  2. Hello, my name is Alan and I lived in Ione for a few years back in the 70's.

Is Ione considered part of the Mother Lode???

Does the Mother Lode want to consider Ione as a member of the Mother Lode???

We enjoy caching up in the hills.

  3. Dawn, and I should be there. There is also the RCGDS event the week before in Elk Grove. We will also be at that one. Any one else going to the one in Elk Grove. It will start at around 8am just the right time for bill. ;)

    Richard

I'm sure I'll be there. Only a couple miles from my house.

Plan to go to the MAC event also.

  4. A great day in Ripon!  :o Good friends, good food, and a mystery solved!  :D

It was a fun day and it started with fun event.

Glad to see the tar wasn't brought out. :D

We enjoyed caching the Ripon and Lodi areas. I think we found 26 today with only 2 DNFs.

Thank you CVC'rs and Bill for an enjoyable outing.

    Alan

  5. Now, how am I going to make the angry natives I'm not the one their after. It's amazing how fast a person can lose their good name. Oh, well. They won't believe me anyway.

Whoo,hoo...coffee, caches, rumors of tar and feathers.....

This is going to be a real fun day!

  6. Is everyone getting caches stashed for the Gathering next weekend? I've only placed a couple so far but have at least three more in the final planning.

Will these be approved and available before the 9th?

I'd like to prepair my routes and maps before we head out for a full day of CVC caching.

The Lodi area has been busy. Lots of new caches there. I might bypass Stockton and spend the day there after Ripon.

    Thanks!

  7. If you only have a few hours, it would help to know what part of town.

THANKS GeoSharks! I'll be stayin' at the Red Lion on Arden Way. Does that help a bit?

You will be in a good area. Lots of caches nearby.

Run a PQ for that zip code with a 5 mile range and head for the river or the ones close to your hotel. Have a good trip.

  8. Can you recommend any caches in the Sacramento area?  I only have a few hours (I'm in town on business) and I'd prefer some non-urban cache suggestions.

    Waddyasay?

If you only have a few hours, it would help to know what part of town.

Otherwise you might spend a good portion of your time stuck in traffic.

M/E is right, the A.R. Parkway is always a good bet.

    Have a good trip.

  9. Patsy?! Where were you between 3/10/05 at 12:30 PM and 3/16/05? Hummm?!

3-10-05 I was at work all day

3-11-05 I was at work all day

3-12-05 We were making lemoncello and entertaining the neighbors

[3-13-05 We were in Livermore caching

    3-14-05 I was working/caching in Angels Camp

I'm innocent, I tell ya! Do you have a warrant?

OK, I'll bite. Whats a lemoncello? Is that a musical instrument that plays sour notes? Also, is that a tostone maker someone is using to squeeze lemons?

Yeah really what is that? It looks like lemons and apples or something.

I've never heard of this before..had to Google it.

    Looks very interesting....

Only two Corona's for all those lemons? :D

    This calls for Corona! :D

  11. Has everyone noticed and used their Geo-Bookmarks yet?

    Nice list..

I haven't used the bookmarks yet, but I am using the ignore option.

Very nice to be able to ignore caches that are unmaintained, stay disabled or take forever to get archived.

I might stop using the SBA log and just ignore them from now on.
