  3. I designed a event hunt. Since I was officiating and did not want ot give out any clues, I wrote the following for the hint: All the information you need to know can be found by dialing 555-1212. My receptionist will answer any question you may have... cheater! If you think that is bad, the event hunt was even more undescriptive. 4. Misguided One brings up a good point. Some rangers were (are) having problems with caches placed on Wa. state parks. And for good reason. Some of the washington folks formed an organized group to discuss and work through these issues with state organizations. Washington Group Discussion Anyway, since Oregon ALLREADY has a pretty strong group of local geocachers (i.e. Spike Night Crew) I believe we can put some formal planning during one of our meets.. like after one of our events, we discuss local issues and how to respond to them. Sound interesting? Hmmmmm.. Hey TJ, we aint perfect. We now know and need to respond in a proper fashion. "I put instant soup in a microwave and almost went back in time." -Stephen Wright

I'm going for a little earlier start due to the fact that it's getting darker out. Everyone ok with that? I just found out that I cannot get out of work until 7:30. Bummer. I will still head down there and look for the Geocacher carnage after work. If there is a post meeting spot, mebby I can catch y'all there. If you got your FRS radio's, I will use Channel 5 subchannel 0. But, in typical soup fashion, I will probably get lost. Good luck everyone! -C

One of the reasons we seemed to stick to Wednesday or Tuesday nights wuz that was when the most G.C.rs could attend. The 14th is bad, since I will be at a bachelor party (not mine). Any other day... I could swing it. Hell, I may even go to Corvallis to see the ruckus Bellemanda is stirring up. It is there right? -C "I put instant soup in a microwave and almost went back in time." -Stephen Wright
  8. Since I cant join in this club (too far away from Oregon), could there be a formal response to this "FWadmin" who is removing caches from FW parks. Invite them, or inform them of your intent maybe? I am getting a little worried about my "Points" cache. I would contact him myself, but I wanted to know what the general consensus is before I go dialing the phone. Soup quote: Originally by Mr. Toad.. more removed caches NopiSoki Saltwater Stash GC1368 has been removed by someone calling himself "FWadmin". he claims he can be reached at the following: I can be reached at 360.344.4406 - FWadmin@parks.wa.gov Thank You. 9. I have 2 caches in Washington parks.Morans Mug and Points of Interest, but I live in Orygun. EEkk.. I would love to attend this meeting, and get them on the "WA Park Approval list" but I will just have to get the cliff notes afterwards. I will become a sattelite member, since I go up to WA on a frequent basis. Put in any good words for me that you can think of. aTdHvAaNnKcSe "I put instant soup in a microwave and almost went back in time." -Stephen Wright
  10. This event quickly went from a multi-type cache hunt, to a roving band of technocrats, bent on discussions not related to G.C. The Max will never be the same. My favorite part must have been the speeding car that performed a drive-by-clueing. Skeletor behind the wheel was a nice addition. Classic! It was a fun to watch non G.C. folks expressions when 30 people poured out of a train with weird little gadgets. It was great to meet some new friends, as well as the crowd regulars. Hey Fractal, hope you enjoyed the Margarita, and I look forward to the next adventure. A-painting I will go now. Well maybe sleep first.

  14. Nice! A fine piece of work you have produced Mr.f. I am impressed... I think I know where you are hiding, but I aint sayin where. (Soup's famous last words). As expected, soupy will have an urgent "sickness" and will leave work early to attend this event. I gots everything needed, with plenty of anticipation to boot.

  21. What a nice night. It was fun chatting with cachers, and watching the meteors fall. I was only in a t-shirt and wasnt cold at all. The motorcycle trip there and back was very fun. So fractal, what did the cops say to everyone? They told me to get out of the park! heh heh. "I put instant soup in a microwave and almost went back in time." -Stephen Wright
