  1. I know this is a long shot but I love the stats on geocaching.com but sadly most, if not all are wrong as they don't incorporate geocaching.com.au's caches. Is there anyone that knows any way of incorporating both sites into my stats????

  2. Hullo! were trying to complete the alphanumeric challenge and we are missing caches that start with

    x

    z

    0

    3

    5

    6

    7

    8

    9

If anyone knows where there are any around Melbourne, then we would be delighted to hear from you

    cheers!

  3. Hi guys,

Thank you for replying and especially to Mooncat for the great site.

No offense to anybody but my intent however was not to receive 'be patient' advise as i know exactly what goes on, and how much trouble people have, but really just to notify anyone nearby that she was there and would like to move.

I put the same question on the Aussie site too so lets hope someone can help soon!

    Thanks anyway

  4. Hi there,

I'm not sure if there is an actual place for my query but i thought i'd stick it here and see if anyone could help me! My first and only travel bug has been released on the world and the first ppl to pick her up were great, they took pics and put her somewhere very quickly....my problem is that they put her in such a desolate cache (Yarra Valley Views, Victoria, Australia)that noone has visited since (29th Jan!) :( I'd like her to mooove on very soon...if anyone is in the area....please pick her up and mooove her on! Thankyou!

  5. Hi there! :)

Tough to narrow down where you are since you just said Victoria but assuming you're near to or able to get to Melbourne, here's a few I'd recommend ...

GC1KM11 (That Park in Burnley) - super awesome hide method. I gave this one a favourite point. Check out the previous logs - a lot of people rate it quite high.

GC224DZ (Susi Buggalug's Cache) - cool multi since it involves seeing (but not going into) Steve Irwin's old place. Final location is a nice spot for a rest and the hide is also very clever - had me searching for a while. In fact I'm planning to hide a container similar to this one very soon.

GCHAG5 (Smart Array) - Loved this one because of the difficulty in getting the info you need to solve it.

Happy to help out with any info you guys needs - I'm 'digitalformula' on geocaching.com (and live in Melbourne) if you want any info. :)

    Enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestions! we'll definitely be marking those ones down. We actually live near Box Hill (East Melb) but we don't mind traveling a bit for a good-un! Let us know any more worthy of a mention! Thanks again!

  6. Hi there!

We are new to the excitement of geocaching, only been 20 days or so but we are HOOKED! We would like to know (as this site is not specifically Australian) Where some of the cleverest or most ingenious or fun caches are in Victoria. We have found some traditional ones and some multi's and we love ones that may be different than just finding a plastic box full of other plastic cheap items. Are there ones around that have left a wow factor with you? We'd love some recommendations!

    Thankyou
