I couldn't agree more. I'm sick and tired (and tired and sick) of the "newbie/rookie" comments.

Case in point: The team that picked up our bug would be considered a "newbie/rookie" team (they have fewer than 10 finds) but they did an outstanding job. Logged the bug properly and even posted a picture at the cache page!

The next team, with well over 150 finds, never logged our bug as "dropped off" after placing it. The bug was then grabbed by another team so our bug never saw an official placement in the cache where it was dropped off.

    Go figure!

In a perfect caching world, this is a great idea. But since we all know that (unfortunately) not all cache owners are responsible, I'd like the TB OWNER to ALSO have this link. I can say that as a TB Owner, I keep track of my bug and it's frustrating when she's not logged properly.

  3. I have been looking for something to use as our team signature item. These sites have tons of ideas!

Not plugging anyone, I found them doing a search for "event or trade show giveaways."

    http://www.promostar.com/

    http://www.exclusivegifts.com/

    http://www.adcomarketing.com/

    http://hookedonpromos.com/tradeshow_giveaways.html

    http://www.branders.com/

I had to register to view the branders catalog.

Markwell, I hope this helps...there are tons of ideas out there and I have no idea what your budget will allow.

  4. Yes, the A&W was there when I was a kid. I also have vague memories of a drive-in movie theatre (don't remember if it was in Ashland or Mansfield).

It's too bad the Dairy Dolly is gone. I remember the Zurcker (sp?) family who owned it. Anyone, besides me, remember the old donkeys they had out back of the place?

I about fell out of my chair when I read that! I was born back in '57 (well, THAT cat's outta the bag). We moved away when I was 9. Please ask your wife if she remembers the Dairy Dolly. icon_biggrin.gif

I read the cache description and wondered myself about this one...then while reading the logs, I decided it's fairly tame.

Check the log from DarkSide on December 6, 2001...the picture "Swinger's hangout." Perhaps we "judge" too soon!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. icon_smile.gif

  9. I'm personally having a difficult time believing THIS REALLY MATTERS in the grand scheme of things! PulEASE!

And now, there's yet another stinkin' pole out there.

    Dang. Enough is enough!

BB, I for one, support your choice to "log or not log" as you see fit at the cache or on the cache page. What's the big deal?

Remember...this is a GAME. Don't take the FUN out of it!
