  1. I had the Oregon 600 for several months, I installed all of the updates but recently decided to sell it on ebay! I just couldn't deal with the touch screen and the accidental reconfiguration of the screen settings. I now have my new Garmin 62st and now something happens only when I press a button! Yes Please and Thank You!!!

Had you actually spent the time to learn how to use it, that wouldn't have been an issue.

  3. Hey all sd geocachers! I have an event called "Darnall Family Sports Night" coming up next week Thursday May 24th from 5:30 - 7:30

I've decided to sneak in a geocaching booth at the event. Thanks to Habu! (he rocks) I have a layout of the course and gps's for parents to check out. I need geocachers to help run the booth and or help parents/students with the gps units.

It will be a very fun night at my school, good food, dunk tank (for teachers), obstacle course and a Geocaching course. I know it's last minute being a week away. I'm hoping to have 5 - 10 geocaching volunteers! Thank you so much in advance.

If you can volunteer please call me @ 619-840-7765 Also, if someone has a geocaching banner that I could borrow that would be great.

My school address (where the event will take place):

    Lemon Grove area

    6020 Hughes Street

    San Diego, Ca.

Perfect that he was able to grab it while out with the family. We had a great time on our epic annual Guys Roadtrip getting him to the brink of this milestone.

  9. I hate it when my fellow teacher and noob geocaching friend gets harrassed by BP. His problem is he's mexican american and they run his license, tell him parks closed, your not allowed out here etc. I'm a true patriot at heart and am all for BP and their efforts but once you find out a person is a tax paying american you let him alone!!!!!!! This has happened to him several times now. He's trying to check out the caches near border field park, ie the bunkers, spooners mesa.

  10. Tombmaker! hits 5000!!
