POCKET ACES asked "I was wondering if anyone has all the Indiana spirit quest caches in gsak and if they would share them with me?"
Anyone?
Wulf
shouldn't be too hard to do it... just make a bunch and filter everything without spirit quest out of it

Anybody going to the Evansville event this weekend. I am sure it will be a fun one.
Deermark
I would but with Doobie's car throwing a shoe on the way back from the 3rd annual Kentuckiana meet and eat weekend and me not able to put the mileage on my company car I doubt it looks hopeful that we will be able to attend...
The good news is that I went back out there today and found the tire, Intact, and barely scratched and 300 feet from where our car stopped it's 83 mph 800 foot slowdown

This is a website that will let you color code county maps of states, perfect for showing the counties where you've GEOCACHED in INDIANA.

Well, it's easy to prove that any one of us are only one or two steps away from any of the big number cachers or to folks that post in the forums a lot.
So, how close are you to this guy? He has two finds and one hide. His account has been around for over two years and even loged in this month.

I was pondering the following the other day and I was wondering if anybody here had an answer to this question ??
They claim that all people in the world are connected within six degrees of each other. Apparently you always know somebody who knows somebody else etc. and within six connections you can get around the globe. Well I don't really buy that but that is not the question/discussion item.
I was wondering how long it would take (how many steps) before all geocachers and caches in the world are connected ?? If all the caches and TB's I have found is one step, and then all the geocachers who have found those caches and TB's is the second step, and all the caches those geocachers have found is the next step, then how long (how many steps) would it take before we have all geocachers and caches in the world connected ??
I bet you this would defenitely be within six steps, maybe even less ?? Can somebody actually find this out ??
You found All about mary(GC7E2) september 29th 2004
Team Tigger international found All abut Mary(GC7E2) January 1 2004
I first met TTI at Mission12 blind canal(GC1596) january 7th 2006
would that count as three steps or 6?

Thanks for offering to take on my creek task, {LoS}-Xile!
Glad everyone had a good time, and that it turned out to be a nice day for the trip. I can hardly wait for Derrmark to post his photo.
On the home front...the boy did a great job in the play--the kids all did-- and the kids are all hoping that they will be invited to the state level.
Reports of me falling into creeks have been knon to be GREATLY exaggerrated
Sorry I failed to fall in the creek this time, but Ratler(lololoco) fell down in the valley, and Chuck took a little tumble over the aforementioned log.
All in all a good day.... fun fun fun fun... who's trail we going on next???
-
Hope you all have a great time at the Trail Mix...
My youngest son is going to the regional competitions (high school theatre production). He has a part that he really wanted in "What I Did Last Summer"
No mixing with great people on the trail for me....Good parenting and all that....Someone else will have to fall in the creek this year!
Neos2
I'll do it for you!

well from the looks of things they were right to gripe about the use of that type of container in that environment but he was wrong to archive each of his caches because of it. I hppe a local cacher will run out and collect those for you and the other TB owners as well.
-
Sorry for the blantant ripoff
sign me up for 2 of these please lol

Don't forget my little cache during the Morgan/Monroe event. Crossing Into Yellowwood is just a few steps outside the MMSF on Gorley Ridge. That reminds me, there is also Gorley Ridge Cache on the same ridge. Both are East of Low Gap Road, which might be outside of your search area? Wish I could join you, but I'll be working.
you ought to reactivate your valley seen cache... i'm sure it'd get some traffic this weekend if you did..
-
The fastest I have heard anyone doing all 99 of the BOB caches was 5 hours. Jim of Prairie Partners and Dave of BBF did it in 6 hours. Daggy and I meandered and did it in 8 hours. Most of the caches are curb side parking and in good areas so you don't have to worry about your safety. All the logs are on metal strips velcroed to signs. You would definitely need radios because of the frequent turns and getting turned around. The Beverly Cache if I remember right was about a .40 hike. Easy terrain though. It is west of Chicago and the BOBs are north of the city. Traffic is a big problem when going through or around Chicago. Allow lots of travel time from Indiana to the start of the caches. Sounds like fun though. The BOBs will wear you out. It is funny how jumping in and out of a car all day is so tiring. Rather be hiking.

i thought you said it was about three hours Mark.. LL maybe i just had that cheese ball and Brownies and other snacks stuffed in my ears at the Cachemas party...
-
it wasn't my idea... I believe that Idea was given to my by the groups of cachers that have already done those runs.... my problem is that I don't know what size the logs are, so i'd hate to end up with a sticker that's too big to fit on the logbook.
