  1. I'm waiting to here how Ron's day went. I was actually riding bikes (not geocaching) this morning and I happened to catch ron, and another hunting for my new Del Puerto Canyon cache. And the funny part is. He was NO WHERE near the cache. Maybe I should bump the difficutly up a notch on that one. I need to wait until a few others go for that one before I do that. After my morning ride I did go hunt for the two new retreever caches along the Stanislaus. When i get to the first one who do I see? None other than Fathur and LovOzzy. Too late I thought. So I yell out "did you find it?" "No" they said. They had thouroughly searched the area, used the clue, and still could not find it. So Mary and I started looking and were coming up empty. I asked FT and LO what the clue was and it lead to an obvous location. But they had searched the area. Sould I trust them? Well, I'll just look a little bit and....... .bingo! Found it!! LO gave FT the nicest look. FTF and right in front of the other cachers. george

I actually thought it was in a totally different place. I found it first and then wandered off to let Caitlin and Pat continue hunting. Good luck Ron. I bet you resort to begging a hint from someone who has already found it!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Jaimee I placed 2 today. That was the easy one you found "Smell the Roses". This is the other one. "Del Puerto Creek" http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=18929 This is the one I talked about that was supposed to be tricky. Smell the roses clue is similar to a clue I read in Monterey so I kind of recycled it. These two caches are completely different in soooo many ways. george

  6. I hope you haven't resorted to reading the clue on that one but there's a joke in it that LO probablly has a edge on understanding. I'm sure Ron gets it to but I was hoping to stump a few with it. Again, don't read the clue unless you've tried for it already. george

It's not approved but it should still be viewable. I look at others people's unapproved caches all the time. Just try again. When it is approved it will be the same link. george

  9. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=18929 It hasn't been aproved yet but I've never had a problem with one of my caches. I wanted to give a head start to the people who read the forum. george

Re, scarcity of caches in your area...well, there's always southern California ! Ron (the squirrelmeister) __I've never been lost. Fearsome confused sometimes, but never lost.__ Are their any nudists camps around here? That probablly wouldn't stop him either. I'm just not sure I'd want to see the pictures. george

From your description, that's not the case here, so a single log is appropriate. The cache owner on the other hand may be so happy at your report that the original cache is back may in appreciation tell you to make the second log, that's at their discretion. _________________________________ Member:http://www.wi-geocaching.com I left it up to the cache owner to decide. I told him to delete on of my logs of he wanted. I just thought it was an interesting situation. george
  13. The closest cache to me is 24 miles away and the next closest is 28 miles away. Someone needs to get busy and start hiding more caches. Now that I'm tied with Kevin how am I suposed to catch Ron by driving 100 miles each way? george

Would you like to tell it LO? george Thanks for the Alien glass, Kelley pretty much has been using it non stop since. george

I replaced the cache with a new cache in the same spot. Now, according to the latest cacher to visit, the cache is back again! So there are TWO cache containers there at the same spot. Is that wierd or what? Not only that... this is the second time this has happened to one of my caches. My cache in Oregon, _Domo Arigato (Mr. Rogue-ato)_, had the exact same thing happen. Has this happened to anybody else or am I cursed (or blessed... take your pick)? http://www.macnexus.org/users/davidpeterson/llamasmall.jpg Oh, it's not missing. We found the caches, the only one was out in the open, so it was spotted first. My daughter spotted the second one as she wandered around. george

They were sitting around mulling over possible ideas of how they could possibly slow me down so I don't make them look bad. One decided it would be very ingenious to plant the caches in areas laden with poison oak, and that is what they went with. Nice planning!!!! Jaimee I'm trying to breed a strain of poison oak that also has thorns and prefers to live in really rocky areas. For no particualar reason though. george

What time are you guys meeting up in Stockton? Maybe we could stop by there on our way to Sacto if that is what we decide on. Oh..one more thing George. You took a picture of your WHAT at the Tuolumne Big Tree cache???? Jaimee I forgot two things, one that other people read the logs, that was note for Kevin, and two, what I took a picture of. Kevin is going to have to wait for the film to be developed. All I remember is that it was raining so what ever I took a picture of it was wet. As for Stockton, I'm planning on being there at 10 if I don't here from Ron otherwise. I CANNOT find that cache. Please help me people. I come on bended knee. I really don't have much fun with Mike and Connie caches but I real want this one. Hey ron, my cell phone number is (209) 648-4983. I'll have my phone on me tomorrow. I need to find at least 3 caches tomorrow to catch Kevin in the rankings. george
