  1. I'm now drooling! I love fastbacks too. The only ones I don't like where those weird ones in the 80s that looked like cavaliers! LOL
  2. I wouldn't sneeze at a '67 ragtop either! LOL
  3. I was trying to be helpful, and point out that you might exclude something you might not want to exclude since a wide variety of caches are included in the "unknown" category. I respect that not everyone loves puzzles like I do, but some unknown caches are not all puzzles, and it might be the ending to the series that you just spent a couple of hours on, and don't have the cache page, because you didn't include it in your pq, and it didn't get loaded into your palm. Just an observation. And making puzzles a different category would be helpful to both you and I.
  4. Well, I was wrong, I don't feel dumb at all. That is hard to see! I'm gonna close this, since my question has been answered! Thanks so much CKayaks!
  5. Some would tell you you should log it as Attended only once, and then as a Note the rest of the times. But don't listen to what anyone else says about how you SHOULD or SHOULD NOT do it. You're definitely doing it the way that is fun for you. Nobody is better at having fun than anyone else, and the way you log your events doesn't hurt anybody. You're not going to keep anyone else from winning no matter how you do it. Thanks, I wish they would do a separate cache page, but they are separate events. I don't feel guilty or like a numbers geek. I had attended 2 of the 4 times they've posted it! LOL
  6. I thought I'd check with ya'll first to make sure it wasn't my imagination! LOL I will do that and let you know! EMAIL SENT!
  7. I do have the trackable one. I ordered the trackable one, and looked at the picture of the non-trackable one. I doesn't say "Track this Geocoin at Geocaching.com" Mine says that. But I've had my son look at it too (young eyes) and he doesn't see anything but the 082 number.
  8. I had a good day: All Seasons: Spring Lewis & Clark San Francisco Silver British Columbia and the cutest little pepper I ever laid eyes on! (Thanks Pepper!)
  9. I know I'm going to feel dumb as soon as someone answers this, but I just got the new Lewis & Clark trackable coin (It is beautiful!), and went to activate it, but don't see the tracking number on it. It has an 082 along the side, and it says that it is trackable at GC, but I am not seeing the tracking number on it! LOL Help!
  10. Wow, harsh, but that wasn't the point I was making. The point was that a PQ like that might exclude part of a series. I do know how to fix it. I was pointing out the issue because some people run PQ on an area, and if they exclude unknowns they might not pick up the final in the series. And, being a one who loves puzzles, I'd like to be able to run a query that only had them.
  11. Okay, here is a situation where I logged an event more than once: Local cachers throw an event at their house every 3 or 4 months. Instead of archiving it, they disable it until next time. So although I have 2 finds on one event, I attended the event in October then again in April. To me, it is two separate events, but it only has one cache page.
  12. That is why I bring it up. We have many series up here where the final is classified as an unknown. I've read logs where people were unable to do the final, because they ran the PQ to exclude the unknown caches.
  13. But that also means that it will not return "bonus" caches. I don't know if this is done elsewhere in the country, but some people will put out a series, and you collect information from each cache, the final is actually an unknown cache. So if you look for a series with an unknown cache as the final, then you won't get that in your PQ. And that is why I would like to see a separate - Puzzle only - designation. (I love puzzles!)
  14. Yes, and I sent them an e-mail too. My long, long awaited April Signal and May Coin Club aren't in the database. The rub with the May coin is that it came in an airtite, but the numbers were smudged underneath. So I tried to open it, and ended up breaking it, wiped the numbers off, and was able to read them! I've been a big supporter of this company, but I am getting frustrated with them.
  15. I love this!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for more details!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. 9key You can reach him through GC
  17. Ah, Marky, you already spoiled me on our trade! I really made out good on that. I'm doing this because the McDoodles are my friends! Here is a list of the domestic that are going out tomorrow: Sandra Forbes David Klug Jacob Olson Squirmnet Graphics Service Michael Brill Ross Stewart (hmmm...that name is familiar) International going out tomorrow will be: Marc Nollet Richard Hansen Martin Sommer Ian Grime RFM van Uden Holger Warnsing Jens Mohr Ken Allam Marc Oberdoerster Steven Burke Erik Jens Johan Christiaanse Andreas Koziol Michael Schaden Erik Lemcke Greg Geissler Calimero Magic Bert de Rooij m van staa I recognize alot of these names from my coin mailing! You folks are truly addicted (note: pot calling kettle black! LOL) And that is all I have. If your name should be on this list, let me know and I'll work with the McDoodles to see what we can do. Keep in mind that they had been mailing a few every day, so a couple could be on the way.
  18. Man, I want one of those SEPAG coins! They are so cool! I got the Satellite V3 coin today and my April Signal.
  19. The following orders went out today, via Priority Mail: Daniel Bigart Craig Wanner Adam Packer Ronna Johnson Mark Roloson William Barfoot James Weidman Matthew Osterman Stephanie VanAken David Minnick Thomas Hassett John Dawson Helene Christianson Edwin Medina Barry Hansen Richard Freeman Timothy Taylor James Weidman (I don’t know if he has two packages or I wrote it down twice!) Mark Remein Raymond Caswell Don Tichner Lane Vanderbrock Sandra Forbes I ran out of time on my lunch break and have about 7 more US orders and some international orders to do. I'll post a list when I get home from work. And those orders will go tomorrow. This is strange, I usually can't access this forum from work!
  20. Paid mine this morning! Can't wait to see my set!!!!!
  21. I'm going to be updating the other thread, so can we close this one so there will be no confusion?
  22. First off, I have to say that the McDoodles are a great family. They have contributed so much to caching in the DFW area in the past couple of years. Stuff happens when you have 3 small children! So lets get right past that! I'll get the coins today at lunch, and will get all the domestic ones in the mail today. I'll make a list and post it here. They will be shipped priority mail. For international orders, I will have to do customs forms, and will do those tonight. They will be shipped Global Priority Mail. I shipped my international coins that way and most arrived within a week. And I will post a list here, but I'm hoping to get all of them out tomorrow. If anyone has any questions, you can PM me. Thanks!
  23. Annie, I don't know if you got my email, but please contact me! You should have my phone number from one of the various lists. I think I can help. Joni
