The OP, however much he adjures others to stay on topic, morphed his own thread from "is everybody here white?" to "let's artificially post an unrepresentative number of brown faces to the front page to create a welcoming atmosphere." It's the latter I was reacting to and I don't think I've dissed the idea half as hard as it deserves.
This is exactly why I posted on this thread.
The mere idea of artificially increasing the number of non white cachers in the front page gallery to "bait" timid minorities, rubs me wrong . If certain minorities are afraid of geocaching because of photos showing "white people having fun," they have no business playing.
This sport is about using a GPS to visit neat and interesting locales, and finding a cache. It has nothing to do with race baiting.
Err... ever seen a brown man in a public park looking under a bush? I'm sure you'll be the first one to call the cops

I use Delorme's LT. You can get the receiver + the mapping software for a 100 bucks. Its the best, IMO.
Downside - you have to use it with your laptop.
That is a major downside for some of us. I don't like the idea of a big (big being a relative term here) laptop setting where I can see it while I am trying to drive. I would much rather look at my 60cs mounted in the A-pillar where the buttons are at my fingertips from the wheel, and the screen is right next to my field of vision. It is more visible than my phone, but I don't need to look at that unless someone calls
Anyway, that is just my 2 cents worth.
Oh, and did I tell you, it has voice recognition and voice output. It tells you well in advance which turn to take and so on.

The ones that are on major highways are.

Its not for IIIc. Most of the hardware I've found doesnt work for the 'c' version.

Right click on the online pdf link and save the document to your computer. Then you can view them locally.

Does anyone have one? I've tried to search everywhere, but looks like no one makes a receiver for the IIIc anymore

I'm brown. And I get stares when I go fishing at Allegan Dam all the time. So, I have some apprehensions about geocaching. I dont think people feel comfortable around a brown man looking for caches
