  1. That would be a great feature! I'll give it three votes :-)
  2. I suggest you raise such issues on the GSAK site, where your chances of getting help are probably bigger than here. Well, GSAK can be used fully functional without registering, so you could have run that trial for free...
  3. Thanks for introducing the new "corrected coordinates" feature to your website. You mentioned that you are going to add support for corrected coordinates to PQs and the live API as well. I'm not sure if you have already planned this, but just to be sure, I would suggest that this feature is also supported by the iPhone. Especially the following: - receiving corrected coordinates when loading cache data from the API - receiving corrected coordinates when loading cache data from a PQ - the ability to add corrected coordinates in the iPhone app and uploading them back to the web site through the API
  4. Since installing V4.5.6 my Geocaching App always shows the red LED in the lower left corner claiming to be offline. However, searching for caches or trackables works despite of this, so I'm not sure the display is correct. Unfortunately, when I try to load a pocket query, I get a popup box telling me this feature is only available when online. I am absolutely unable to load any pocket queries. Edit: Killing the app and restarting it fixed the online/offline display and with it also the ability to download PQs. All is well again :-)
  5. Or it might have been temporarily disabled. Those caches aren't shown on the iPhone.
  6. When you are on your bookmark list, there should be an option to "create a pocket query from bookmark". The pocket query can then be downloaded onto your iPhone. However, this is a feature only available to premium members (but your post says you are, so that shouldn't be a problem).
  7. There certainly seems something to be fishy with the app. I've yet to find a problem using favourites or pocket queries, they both work fine for me with 4.5.5. On the other hand, while others confirmed that the latest update fixed their "map forgets zoom level" issues, that problem still persists for me. Apparently some things work for some people, while others work for other people. Bizzare.
  8. Actually, often running my Garmin Etrex Vista HCx and my iPhone in parallel, I was amazed to see that the iPhone offers pretty much the same precision (and the same coordinates) as the Garmin device. The only exception is forested areas, where the iPhone loses clearly. I have actually hidden three of my four caches purely on iPhone determined coordinates (though I measured 5-10 times at various times and in various conditions and then averaged them) and have yet to hear someone complain about them not being good enough.
  9. Cool. I also like that my own caches are now marked with a yellow star in the list and map view. Hm, this does not seem to be working for me. Going from the List->Map->back to List->back to map does not preserve the zoom level of the previous map viewing. Also, when viewing a cache, choosing ->Go to Geocache->changing zoom on map->going back to cache listing or to compass view->go back to map also forgets the previous zoom level. Still, you've added some long missing features, so I'm glad for the update, thanks a bunch!
