Yes It can, not sure how you would import NZGD49 though...despite what the website says...

I have only tried the demo of TopoMapPro and couldn't see any huge advantages except the large scale maps and the ability to add orthophotos.

    Yes, this is annoying.

Yes this works, have tried it in a very limited test. Didn't have any problems.

You can zoom out to cover large portions of NZ, but because it only has 1:50000 scanned maps it doesn't end up very practical. It slows down to a crawl and the resulting image isn't that usable. This has never really been a problem for me though as I haven't needed to zoom right out and the larger scale maps are available online for free anyway.

  3. Yeah I saw gazzanic's post a couple of weeks ago (re divespot) and was hoping the soon to be arc/gis legend would be on to it icon_smile.gif. I have been so busy with minutewar recently that I haven't had a chance to investigate further icon_rolleyes.gif

  7. $66 icon_eek.gif Like rediguana I'll need some time to digest the pro's and con's. I definately can't be critical of Jeremy for wanting to charge for the site, just would have liked to see the charge a bit smaller.

I'm not sure icon_confused.gif what's wrong with banner ad's if they are kept small and don't pop up. It's not that different to a newspaper or magazine.
