  1. Found one awhile back but just now am having some time to post here, sorry A friend and I were traveling and on our way back home we stopped to do a couple caches in Hagerman Idaho. We were both shocked to discovery a Geocoin Fairy coin sitting in the first cache we visited. He stayed & guarded the cache while I ran back to the car. I was pretty sure I had an unactivated Karma geocoin in my center console & I did Thank you Geocoin Fairy
  2. The activation code for the Narmer Palette coin is "Narmer" thx for all the great comments
  3. Yesterday I received one of these adorable coins in my mailbox. Number 46 even I'm not sure what I did to deserve it, but thank you so much!!!!!
  4. I am excited to announce the third coin in the Egyptian Series. This the Narmer Palatte. The coin is over 2 1/4 inches tall & 3 mm thick, minted in black nickel It is trackable on geocaching.com with it's own unique icon This geocoin is available here for $8.50 This is a tamer version of the original Narmer Palette. The two female figures are Sekhmet (the War Goddess of Upper Egypt) and Bastet (the Goddess of Protection but also associated with war & battle). Bastet is handing Sekhmet a coin like a peace offering. The coins turned out great & look especially good in person. Here is a picture of the coin: Minted by Landsharkz, designed with the help of Geocoin Design
  5. So sorry to hear about your troubles. Ebay sales don't bother me, good luck When I first read the title of this thread I thought someone was doing that as a coin. I've toyed with the idea but never sat down to design it. I woud never bite anyone in the butt......unless they asked nicely
  6. I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I lost my precious baby a year ago this month to terminal cancer. Letting him go was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make. I am listing two auctions on ebay for you. One is for my porcupefish geocoin #001 and one is for one of my Seahorse geocoins. I hope that these auctions can raise some money to help pay those vet bills. Again, I'm truly sorry and I'm sure Donutdog is happy just knowing how much you love her.
  7. Sure, the next coin is of the Hector's Dolphin, the rarest of all dolphins. It is a really neat looking coin. It'll be here in September
  8. Thanks for all the great comments I wish I had minted more of the LE's so everyone had a chance to get some. Some folks bought quite a few so I'm sure they will be available for trade. I placed an order today for an additional number of the regular editions. They should be here on August 7th. I also had a small number of LE's reminted due to errors with the coins. Watch my site for a contest or two in August to win one. The remainder of the LE's are spoken for, sorry. I will send out a newsletter to all the subscribers on my site so everyone can know when the reminted coins arrive. Thanks everyone for making this coin such a huge success! The next marine mammal coin will be here in early September.
  9. Just realized I forgot to post in here. I received a very thoughtful package from my secret person for the 4th of July. Here is a picture of all my goodies. Thank you!!!!
  10. Yep - what everyone said. Approximately 250 of the original V1 coins were reminted due to errors. Tracking numbers were scratched off and most of the coins were made into keychains.
  11. Too early in the morning for me, can't read, lol. I will combine all orders that were placed last night or this morning and refund the shipping difference through paypal. If you'd like to add more coins to your order please do so within the next 2 hours. As far as quantities go: Regular coin - no set number, will mint as many as people would like to purchase. LE coin - I believe it was 200 or 225, I need to count them as I have a horrible memory pins - 150 I am examining each coin very closely before I send them out. I've had a few issues with recent coins including incomplete tracking numbers, unreadable tracking numbers & minor flaws. I will continue to update quantities as I have a for sure amount as I am pulling the questionable coins out as I go along. I don't want to list everything & then not have enough coins. If you collect flawed coins, send me an email and I'll let you know what I have. It'll save me the trouble of sending them back to the mint Thanks for all the kind words. I really love this coin, it is a beauty!
  12. There are still LE's available. Was only listing a few at a time since I am almost out of envelopes. Uline is supposed to make a delivery today, I hope.
  13. Yes I truly am a dork, it is correct now. sorry about that
  14. Hello I just wanted to post a note here announcing my newest coin & pin. This is a North Atlantic Right Whale Geocoin. I wanted to design a few coins of endangered marine mammals. This is the first. Here is some information about the Right Whale. The Right Whale derived it's name from whalers. For hundreds of years this whale was hunted to the point of extinction. Whalers named this whale the Right Whale because when it was killed it floated due to it's abundance of blubber, therefore it was the "right whale" to hunt. While the Southern Right Whale has made a slight comeback (it's numbers exceed 3000) the Northern Right Whale's have not, it's number are estimated to be between 300 - 350 and declining. The coin is 2 inches in diameter & 3mm thick. This is a quality coin & is stunning. The coin is trackable on geocaching.com with an icon that looks similar to the front of the coin. There are two versions of the coin, both minted in black nickel. There is also a lapel pin to match Regular version - $7.75 - no limit - Link to purchase Regular Edition LE version - $8.25 - no limit - the LE version has glitter in the water & the moon glows in the dark. - Link to purchase LE version Designed by the Mad Hatter's Neverland - Minted by Castle Coins & Pins A portion from the sale of this coin will be donated to the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies. You can read more about them here: Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies edited to add links to purchase - duh
  15. Cute coin I'm currently working on a caching naked coin(s) but it is much different than this one. Will have a different saying on it too. Should be here in September. Must be an Idaho thing lol
  16. I'm pretty sure the activation code for these coins is Anubis. Try that & let me know if it works
  17. I just wanted to post a note here letting everyone who may be interested in knowing that there is a new coin on Dorkfish Coins. This is the 2nd coin in the Egyptian series. It is trackable on geocaching.com and has it's own unique icon. Here is some information about the coin & a picture. Sorry the photo is a bad one, the coin looks much better in person. The Anubis geocoin is shaped in the form of a Canopic Jar. Canopic Jars were used to hold the organs of the mummified individuals. The lid of this jar depicts Qebehsenuef who was the Falcon Headed God. The back of the coin has an image of the God Anubis. Anubis was the God of the Underworld and therefore had the lucky task of embalming individuals. While the rest of the coin is black nickel, Anubis is gold metal overlayed on top. The hieroglyphs on the front of the coin translate into something Anubis might be saying. I don't want to post the translation here in case people want to try and translate it themselves, but it is posted on my website. It is a two tone geocoin with black nickel & gold and is currently on sale for $8.50 The coin is 1.75 inches tall & 3mm thick. Minted by Landsharkz and designed with the help of Geocoin Design. The coin is available here: Anubis Geocoin
  18. Wow, there are so many talented folks among us it's hard to narrow down just a few. As far as people who I respect the most: Jamie with Mad Hatter's Neverland is very talented, extremely professional and has great business ethics. I absolutely love working with him. Shop99er - I love all of their designs. They are great upstanding folks who produce great coins. Fluttershy comes up with some great ideas & is sweet too Chris with Landsharkz is very talented and has always treated me well. There are alot of really talented folks out there with some great designs. I have many favorite people who when I hear they are coming out with a coin I know that I will want to add it to my collection. Off the top of my head I would have to name Shopp99er & The Loggerheads as my all time favorites
  19. To bad they did get the gummy side first!! LOL Lol, no kidding. The gummy side definately wouldn't have left any marks on his knife, maybe just a bunch of slobber lol Hey, is that a tracking number on his side?
  20. I received one in the mail today from Landsharkz & love it. It looks great. I love all the great phrases on the coin too. Nice job & thanks so much for the gift
