I don't use a stamp yet for Geocaching. But I do use a stamp for Where's George and Postcrossing. I always buy my stamps (signature stamps, Where's George stamps, stamps for my family business, est.) from Stamp-Connection.

Update: Today, my mom sign up for her own account and she became a premium member.

Mine is Justin Of Terrytown. My first name is Justin and I am from Terrytown, Louisiana.
I would have gone with a shorter name, but I am also into other online hobbies (Where's George, Postcrossing, and on rare occasions, Bookcrossing). I just thought it would be easier for me if I have the same username for the hobbies.

What are the rules of family members having different accounts for Geocaching?
My mom has gotten into Geocaching and want to start doing it on her own.
What our plans are? Sometimes we will do it together, sometimes she will do it without me and sometimes I will do it without her.

I should have asked this question before I sent an email but better late than never.
A few months ago, I found a Geocache. I sometimes to check on Geocaches that I found to see how many people have found it after me. This one Geocache appears to went missing after I found it (I was the last one to find it on July 11, 2015 and six people could not find it after me). For Christmas, I received some Geocaching containers and one of them is the exact one that may be missing (same container, same color).
In this situation, is it okay if I send an email to the owner and asking if he wants me to check on it and replace it if is missing?
Of course, if sending an email like this is okay, I would NEVER replace one if the Geocache owner says no.

When I give one hundred percent and could not find the geocache, I always mark it as DNF.
I do it for two reasons:
1) let the owner know at least one person could not find it. If other people mark it as a DNF either before me or after me, it might mean the owner need to check on it. If somebody did not find the Geocaches I hidden (I only hidden two so far), I want to know.
2) If a newbie can't find it, no matter how many people found it before or after me, it at least gives them a little encouragement. When I was a newbie, and I could not find a Geocache, it at least made me feel a little better if I was not the only who could not find it.
If I could not give one hundred percent, I leave a note on why I could not give one hundred percent. Last time that happen, I left a note that said "I could not search for this one because some old guy was laying near where I thought the Geocache was".

I bought an ammo can from a local sporting goods store. My nephew saw it, claimed that it was his treasure box, and played with it for hours by putting stuff in it. To this day (about a year later), I still keep that ammo box for him to play with when he comes over.
I love finding Geocaches of all sizes. But I enjoy the experience of looking for them (the journey to getting to the location and actually looking for the Geocache). I really enjoy finding one that was hidden in a creative spot.

I am just getting into the Travel Bugs. I like attaching the travel bugs to key chains (I will try attaching them to different things in the future). I am looking for some ideals that I can use for the mission.
The missions I have used so far is
1) to visit as many different parks as possible
2) to travel the world.

Sometimes I use my cell phone, sometimes I use my GPS (etrek 10 but I am looking at upgrading), and sometimes I use both. My cell phone will not work everywhere so that is one reason I have a GPS.

I have heard that some people collect Geocoins. If you collect them, how do you store them (in a box or what)? If you collect them, are you suppose to enter them into Geocaching.com with the tracking number?

Since I live in a tourist town, a lot of the swag that I use is touristy (poker chips from the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club, golf balls from the World War 2 Museum, stuff from the Angola Museum, keychains, est.).
A few weeks ago, I found a geocache with not a lot of swag in it. So I left a trackable, a world war 2 museum, and a poker chip from the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club.

I am not a nudist but I wonder if there are any Geocaches at Indian Hills Nudist Park in Slidell, LA (the closest nudist park near my house)?
There is a cache at the entrance sign.
I drive thru Slidell when I am going to visit my parent's fishing camp in Bay St. Louis, MS. The next time I am in Slidell, LA, I am planning on finding that Geocache. So thank you for letting me know about it.

One of my trackables mission is to visit as many parks as possible. I am going to laugh if that trackable ends up at a nudist park.

I am not a nudist but I wonder if there are any Geocaches at Indian Hills Nudist Park in Slidell, LA (the closest nudist park near my house)? The reason I know that the nudist park exist is due to the Times-Picayune article As nudism fades in Louisiana, one campground nakedly perseveres

I want to get into hiking/backpacking. I know I can't do any long hikes until I get into better shape but I can start with short ones.
I am wondering what books you recommend for beginners? What web-sites should I check out? What YouTube videos should I watch?

Is there a Geocaching flyer that I can hang up at coffee shops or give to friends?
I know in the Southeast Louisiana, some of the coffee shops have bulletin boards that you can hang up flyers. I would enjoy being able to hang up a Geocaching flyer to help promote Geocaching.

This video on YouTube gives some good information about hiding a Geocache.

Bicycling is my main hobby to help me lose weight. I lost about a hundred pounds so far. I still need to lose more weight.
Geocaching has helped me lose weight or at the very least, help me keep it off.

We, Veterantributes and I, will also be on the cruise. Would love to maybe grab some of those caches together, I already have pocket query run for each stop, maybe grab a meal together while on ship.
I would love to meet up with you and Veterantributes. I have only met one other Geocacher (at a cemetery oddly enough) so I would like to meet some more.

This thread is what helped me to fix the problem with my etrek 10 (I also couldn't download geocaches to my etrek 10).

Am I alone? I can't go caching without a bottle of antibacterial. I take photos before signing the cache, and use the antibacterial after signing it. I cannot go to events because of this.
I find caches kinda yucky. I once found a cache where there was a used sock in it. That was... well, words cannot describe it!
Even though, I love geocaching!
I don't carry a bottle of antibacterial with me but between my job and Geocaching, I always wash my hands before I eat.

I went there today (I did not go inside so I kept my clothes on) and found it.
