I suspect that the reason I don't get into trouble is that I post pictures of anonymous critters instead pictures of our local Geocaching babes. But today, while I was out caching, I saw something that inspired me to try an experiment. I'll post a picture to see if I get into trouble. P.S. Honk if you know the cross street... Anonymous critters y' say? How do you suppose those anonymous critters feel about that? Honk if you know where this is... Las Vegas? (At least that is where I saw a Harmon Ave last summer.)

This Just In... Point Loma Flooded As seen from this Google Earth image, parts of Point Loma were flooded today. The cause of the flood is not known, however the recent placement of a series of caches named Catalina Creeps is suspected to be related. This series was placed by a cacher named "FlagMan". Persons with knowledge of FlagMan's whereabouts are requested to contact the authorities immediately.

I had never actually thought about it, but indeed, I have seen all five. Of the five, bactrian camels seem to be the hardest to see... Are you referring to "orgling"? If so, perhaps this is best left as an exercise for the reader.

Cache Critters of Peru and Ecuador (#6 in a series) Vicuñas These were in Peru. These were in Ecuador at an altitude of about 14,000 ft. This was on the way up Chimbarazo enroute to a geocache at 15,800 feet above sea level. Highest altitude for the day was 16,004 feet.

A couple of critters from the vicinity of the Carson's Crossing cache. Ducks on Penasquitos Creek. A velvet ant (which is really a wingless wasp - Dasymutilla occidentalis).

Welcome to the game! For caches with swag, look for Small, Regular and Large sizes of caches. There are quite a few in this area (I live near Mercy Road). Penasquitos Canyon and Miramar Hill are good places to start. There are also quite a few just across the freeway in Poway, too.
