I have just installed mapsource and the Topo GB maps for the first time and I'm trying to plan some routes. Some of the caches lie just beside some paths. But when I try to add the paths to the route, it (mapsource and its auto routing feature) keeps taking me to the next via point by returning to the main road instead of sticking to the path. Is there any way to stop that from happening? Or am I missing something? I know I can turn auto routing off, but then it will just take me in a straight line.
Many thanks.

I've been using Linux (currently Suse 11.3) exclusively for about 2 years now. I have mapsource installed with wine and use the openmtb and TOPO maps without a problem.
