Oh, please do my McGinty series someday, and the one on the top . . . they are lonely caches . . .
On a clear day, they offer great views.
I will be doing these and the old 80 ones on Dec 31st.......you and anyone else can come along. I bought some great swag in Hawaii to deposit in various caches that deserve them and yours up the hill definately deserves at least one.

Went back to page 5 of this thread to find this map of the Old Highway 80 caches that we could do this Saturday. What do you think?

I have a question ? Sunday going to Mission Trail Park from North park, turn on my GPS (explorist 210) and put it on the dash. Up the 805 , 8 , north on the 15 it was dead on, but once I got on the 52 it started to drift off. At the mission gouge exit I was a good 500 ft off from the freeway. The gps worked great finding caches during the day, even on the way back home it show the same thing. Has anyone experience that before. I thought maybe because that section is new.
It's that danged Miramar land fill. Highway 52 has been sinking and drifting for years now.

This looks GRAND........can hardly wait to get back to San Diego and have a free Saturday to go find this one!!!!!!

You can guess mine I am sure......well the smilinglady part......the 13 is the day of my birth.......I received this name when I first signed onto email.......I wanted a catchy name but couldnt think of one until my niece (4 years old at the time) said.....Nannty Patty you are always smiling......so she gave me the name and I added the number as the first few smilinglady's were already taken.......now rest assured at about mile 24 yesterday I was not smiling.......gritting my teeth....some mistook it for a smile!!!!!!

Congratulations on completing the Marathon. That is a great accomplishment!
#5 it was......now I am ready to get back to geocaching!!!! much more fun.......I like to look in the caches for stuff........Plus after a good day of caching alls I am is hungry not achy.
Great to hear about your marathon! I am training for my first Half Ironman in March and really like to take the opportunity to cache instead of workout sometimes. You don't need to sit in the hot tub and take ibuprofin after caching (most of the time at least). Enjoy your recovery time, you deserve it!
Wow....Keep up the training........!!! Keep us all informed of how you are doing.
I am happy not to take the Motrin nor jacuzzi after caching......can keep on doing other things that is for sure.

ahimsa, can I get one of those cute "acrobat" things from you? I need one for my shelf of useless objects I have found in caches . . .
WOW you have quite a shelf of stuff. I picked up a couple of things over here.....fill be out finding more tomorrow if my legs work at all........finished the 26.2 in 8 hours......and around 10 minutes.....waiting for the official time. I will see if I can find any things that you could add to the shelf. Thats if the muggle population decreases at all.

Thank you, Smiling Lady 13! I have a new Acrobot TB ready to set loose, but I didn't want to leave it sitting up on a mountain. I'll have to find a more reachable ammo can soon!

I am getting a lot of sighseeing in.....and some hiking (big hike of 26.2 miles is tomorrow) in but the muggles are here in abundance. Over 30,000 people are here to do the marathon. I can guarantee you all that I wont be first nor will I be last. I learned 4 marathons ago that they give the same medal to the first person across the line as they do to those towards the rear of the parade HAHAHAHAHA.
Plan for geocaching in future.....navagator to assist!!!!!! It would be a whole lot easier.......TAKE NOTE!!!! HA.....
Missed all those 1000 finds today.......but am in a great spot....

Obviously I'm new to this but after only two finds, I'm hooked!
This sport should come with the warning sticker: "MAY BE HABIT FORMING".
Hopefully I'm not the only one that finds it addictive.

Guess I am just going to have to start staying in town .......that will be my new years resolution!!!!! Stay in town get more geocaching....HA..........
