  1. Well, got to say i'm surprised just how fast that reply was... i'm impressed, both with the speed & content of the information you've sent me. I'm sure that once I've worked out how to do it all, then, most of my paper caching will be a thing of the past. Thanks again for the very prompt reply.
  2. Hi guy's, being fairly new to the hobby I'm still a basic member of the Geocaching community. I use a Garmin Legend Hcx, and download basic cache information from the Geocaching site, which I then back up with hand written notes. My questions are :- a. Does the Legend Hcx allow GPX file downloads? b. If so, what additional information will be loaded onto the Hcx... and therefore, will it do away with the need for me to make hand written notes? I do of course realise that I'd need become a Premium member to do this... already in hand regardless of the answers to the questions. Many thanks guys. Seven of hearts
  3. Hi Phil...being new to geocaching I've only found a handfull so far, but one I did last weekend was a nice quick one! "Denbigh Delight #2" GCJVOP, in Llanrhaeadr just two or three miles from Denbigh. A lovely place to go geocaching. Also check out Llanferres, about 15mins from Denbigh. Theres quite a few based on the xmas carol '12 days of christmas' - but they're NOT a series, each is an 'independent cache'. Also 'Valhalla' GC1H5EP, a little more challenging - terain wise! (while you're in the area!!) Good luck anyway. the_hodge
  4. GW7BOY on the side...not been active though for quite some time. I'm new to Geocaching also, in my third week now. Been out three times, once with no luck & knocked off 5 in the others. A fascinating hobby sure enough!
