  1. Thanks Jeremy! I can't wait for the new feature to go live...
  2. I wish I wasn't technically challenged!! Most of my bookmarks are public & my Cascade Loop & Olympic Loop bookmarks are on routes, but I didn't have the routes "tracked". I did it the hard way. Wish I knew just what Raine was asking for...I wanted to be in on the fun!!
  3. What a shame - I was saving this one for a big milestone for me.
  4. Was looking at the bookmarks. I see the Devilish Darling series included - cool. Why not have a bookmark for the final in that series, kind of an event end night cache?
  5. Does anyone know if there is a similar law in Washington state?

    Pq Problem

Same here. Must be "bogged down" for some reason. I won't be alarmed until I haven't received it by this evening.
  7. Congrats to Sassy&Gordy on passing 800!! Are you NUTS ?!!
  8. I see the bookmark list coming together! Gotta stay away from those until the event. I can hardly wait! This will be my 1st Cache Machine.
  9. Okey Dokey! Thanks. At least it'll be in the same county....
  10. Wow...in the time it took for me to search the forums and then type in a new topic on waypoint distance...you had already posted almost the same question as I did. Please forgive me, it was unintentional .
  11. Is there a guideline on the farthest apart a multi stage cache can be? Of course, I'll include that info in the write-up....but it'll be a stretch between the two.
  12. I wish I had thought of asking this a long time ago! What great info!
  13. Here's my two cents worth. If you are listed on the coin page as the "owner", then you are always the owner. If the coin is out of your hands, you are still listed as owner and the coin is on loan to whomever physically has it. I don't know if Ebay cares who is listed as owner on geocaching.com, but maybe they should. After all, they are permitting sales of items that are owned by someone other than the seller - an illegal ebay transaction? If you see your coin listed on ebay and it is still "owned" by you, send Ebay an email and let them know that. I don't know what good it will do, but it would be interesting to see their response to an email like that. As far as unregistered coins, well, then ownership is up to whoever activates it.
  14. I just can't make myself stop - this is fun!! Here's another: Mountain Loop Scenic Byway
  15. I agree with other posts...default map on cache page definitely needs to be zoomed out 3-4 levels for it to be really useful. Otherwise, I think I love it. Or better yet, two little maps, one zoomed out/one detailed all on the cache page.
  16. Hope this doesn't sound like "resistance to change".... I like the pin and the integrated road names I spotted on the google map for a cache I'm developing - that's a great improvement. I didn't like the fact that the water feature, i.e. river, does not show up on the map - that's not a great improvement. I've got to play with it a bit more to see what else it does/shows. The new bookmark features sound great. Gotta go test it out now too!!
  17. You can't stop yet, Lizzy. Your bookmarks are very helpful when I'm planning a cache outing and......I'm waiting for you to do a bookmark of (just) Lopez Island. I would have, but lucyandrickie beat me to that one! Making those lists is the next best thing to a major road trip. I sure miss those. Just you wait til my little one gets a couple years older....then BAM!! we're hitting the road again.
  18. Here's one more. I think I'll stop now...... Olympic Peninsula Loop

    Icon Swap Meets

    Personally, I like "Tagged".
  20. That's true! Thanks, I'll make an adjustment to my PQ.
  21. Quote from The Leprechauns: Then I'm back to square one again, with some new caches missing that were not hidden within the past week. I believe a good addition would be to offer the "published" option on the Pocket Query creation page.
  22. YaHOOO!!!! Thanks so much for the link Lil Devil!
  23. Regarding event caches. I fully understand how that would affect them when they are published weeks before the actual events. I know that if I wanted to attend, or think about attending an event, I usually put it on my watchlist. I would get constant email reminders that this was coming up. As it stands today, when I look up all of the newest caches in my state (to get around this "new" issue), I have to scroll down through 16 listings for event caches, only 2 of which I'm even interested in. A pain for me, but that's a personal pet peeve I guess. My concern is missing the new listings because they come up on page 4 or 5 of the "newest in state" listings. One I know of never appeared as a new listing because the date placed/date published were so far apart. I do appreciate this discussion. I wonder if anyone has ever asked Jeremy & co. about their take on this?
  24. That would be bad for event caches. You would be notified months before they are scheduled, and then get no notice at all in the weeks just prior to the event, when you really want it. I hadn't thought of that problem for event caches. There would have to be a work-around for that, but the majority of listings are for actual caches.
