I've never been bothered what was actually in the cache but I've always felt that you can't go wrong with a few toys for the young ones. I know that when I was little if someone offered to take me on a treasure hunt for toys I would have been there like a shot. Nothing much has changed except I leave the toys now (sometimes )

As A result of this discussion I'm currently working on a Caching Tube map. I'll post a link here when it's finished.

Has anyone linked an Etrex to a palm to provide in-car mapping - what do you use and does it work?

Anyone know of an on line site that takes co-ordinates and shows you where the nearest pubs are?

A little harsh I think, Jeremy has put himself out to organise something for the southern cache-bash.

Just thought it might be interesting to find out how everyone got in to Geocaching.
In our case I had a GPS and was reading a mountainbike magazine which said you could download routes in to a GPS. Went to the Garmin site looking for a handlebar mount and found a new sport as well. Off we cycled to Hagrids cache (a mile down the road) and were hooked!
What about you?

Don't hold your breath for it - I'm usually out caching rather than coding

Some users have made me aware that the lite version dosn't run on Casiopeias. I am investigating (on marias' Casiopeia ) and will post here if I get a fix.

I know of two so far Gulliver and Krazy Koala
Are there any more out there?
