Virtuals add some variety to the game and the idea of a driveby cache is a bit of fun.
Now if you posted 10 of these I think things would be diffent

I wondered if the idea of "flying without a safety net" would excite people. Looks like it's not really of interest and falls more towards annoying than exciting.
Well at least I know now.

Why not come over to Epping Forest - lots of wildlife and peace & quite here. If driving that far is stressfull why not check out the caches you can do by tube via the link below.
Did the doc sign you of to go caching - if so I want his number

I'd like to know as I sometimes print the listings out weeks in advance.

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to gather some opinions about clues. Would you visit a cache that does not have a clue for it? Obviously, the difficulty would be higher than a standard cache but would you enjoy the challenge? or just find it anoying?
Don't be shy - lets here all points of view - I'm all ears

I should think they do... The problem with My Spreadsheet seems to be a fix I put in to correct for an extra 1 appearing in front of Northern Hemisphere UTMs - Apart from that the calc is the same. Tesing is taking a while (with timezones etc) but should be fixed RSN.

Any more users need a copy?
Update for current users:
I'm Currently working with some Australian Conservation Rangers to get UTM conversions working correctly for Southern Hemisphere. Northern Hemisphere UTM conversion seems to work OK.
Next release will include Export to Autoroute and DBF. Plus I'm currently working on post-code conversion for UK & US.

I use IE 5 & 6 on Windows 95/NT/2000/XP (depending whether I'm at work or Home). I kinda think that if you stick to well formed HTML, so that when you open a tag you always close it, your stuff should work on most browsers, even the extremley finiky Netscape 4.x
If you are going to add goodies just do it for non essentials - I've done the cache but never noticed the sound as I don't have a sound card in any of my machines.

I agree with Jeremy, can I suggest we split this into two topics
- Hertfordshire 4d Activity
- Next Southern Cache Bash
What does everyone else think?

I use a Palm for all my caches (well I would if it wasn't in the menders at the moment). You can create a custom chanel in avantgo from your Nearest caches list or you can use one of
Brians Palmable Geocaching Indexes which are much nicer. I use the UK-London index.
Look here for how to create a custom channel.
The other usefull things palm users can use are the Hint Decoder ,the Logging Tool and (regular viewers know it's coming) My Spreadsheet (sorry couldn't resist the plug )

We Are Back
in United Kingdom and Ireland

Hurrah,
Our Second, Third and Fourth caches were yours, glad to see you back in the game. We've been keeping an eye on the Epping Forest caches during your absence, but they seem to have been getting on OK with lots of visitors during the last few months. With the possible exception of the Second part of Epping St Johns, which we are quite convinced was just an exercise in trying to get the maximum amount of mud on each cacher.
Been anywhere nice
