I presume you mean Siskiyou County.
Now thats really up north!
Maybe the trick is to get a truck, and drive the scooter to the area where you are going to cache and then off load it and ride it around.
-
My girlfriend and I would love to get a scooter or a vespa, but living in So-Cal its not really that smart. People hardly pay attention to huge SUV's, let alone small scooters.
This would be so nice farther up north though where there is less traffic.

Why did I feed it? Time to figure out how the ignore function works.

How you can call somebody a little boy and post all of that right after is just plain laughable.
Did you guys ever stop to think that the statement might have been on there for years? Or that it really doesnt matter.
Really nice that you see problem in his respond and not at the beginning of their communications. Starting with is not the right thing how to start polite conversation. Or is it normal for you? If anyone starts conversation like Team360 did, I will never respond politely.
After having to delete several notes on his cache page because some people were so upset that and OLD listing wasnt 100% true and was harrassed, you would have seen more than that from me.
The only problems I see were the people writing several notes on his cache. Instead of one person sending one email to the CO.
But that would be all civil like. We cant have that now can we?

Wow, some real class coming from the Czech posters in this thread. Hypocrisy, xenophobic remarks, the works!
Can I have frys with this?
Good one...
Its not a joke. Be a man and stand behind your own words:
"I don't understand why this "person" uses so rude language. IMO it's a spoiled jealous brat. That"s all..."
"Dear boy (I think you are a boy because you have behaviour of a 14 – 15 years old spoiled brat),"
"(maybe this is an American way of making records)."
"Ameracans not number one… Again… But I understand your jealousy"
"Stop crying boy and ask your mum for a nice hug…"
How you can call somebody a little boy and post all of that right after is just plain laughable.

Let me bold the important part for you.
-
by disabling it he is just enabling the other caches numbers to get bigger while his stay the same - it is all about the numbers after all !!
It was changed to "THE # 1 MOST FOUND CACHE!", what is definitely true, but only in USA.

"This cache listing will be disabled until the Czech cachers stop posting harassing notes on this cache page, which I will keep deleting and reporting to Geocaching.com
You can thank sadmanwholikesblues, dr. vota, hickos, s474n, zlost, cherubin, onovy, sobikovi, hrabosek and krtek.net for the harassment.
This listing will not be changed.

Real cool.

You just shattered my world.

I would log the find and not mention the log at all. Least possible drama.
And if it does get deleted, just write a note and move on.
-
Its nice to see a reasonable land owner like you come here and actually start a discussion, instead of yelling at us.
Note that if you want to re-establish it, you can contact the cache owner (CO) and ask him to put a warning on the cache to be respectfull, that its on private property and to find the cache and leave when they are done.
-
I just dropped three of the in one cache. I really hope somebody grabs all three when they find the cache. Its only found once a month or so. I want them to move!

I didnt think subliminal messages in Geocaches existed until last weekend. This guy Roddy wanted me to wear his special sunglass and look at a cache. I refused and we fought for a good 20 minutes until I put them on and was shocked to see the messages.

Here is the definition of dipping don't know if that wil help with the Iphone question.
Dipping – The act of logging a Travel Bug or Geocoin into a cache, and immediately logging it back into ones possession. Someone cachers “dip” a Travel Bug or Geocoin in order to register miles traveled before placing the trackable for someone else to find. Some people use a “personal traveler” to track their miles between caches, and will “dip” the traveler into each cache they find.
so you drop off the TB in the cache then retrive it form from the cache.
I activated a few TBs last night and wanted to dip them in the nearest TB hotel before my vacation this weekend. After I visited the site I logged a note for that cache and used the "visit" option.
Is that the same as dipping? When I drop them off up north will it count the milage from that hotel to the next cache? I assume it will but I wanna make sure.
Thanks.

It makes me wonder about some of you. If you read the logs prior to going to the cache site and know that the cache log might be wet why don't you carry a spare log with you? It seems ignorant to me to look for a cache that may have a wet log and have no way to repair it.
I paperless cache and get alerts on my GPS and will sometimes stop on my way home impromptu. Sometimes I dont have my cache bag with spare logs.
It also makes me wonder if some of you read the logs and see that previous logs have reported a wet log actually go to the cache site. Maybe when you see these types of logs you log a Found It. If you do, you are only cheating yourself.
Maybe in your world, but not mine. For me its the thrill of finding the cache, not the happy face or a number added to my low total. I dont see how I am cheating myself when my entire goal is just to find the cache. If I find a glob of papermache and I dont have spare logs to replace them, im hardly cheating myself of anything.
Maybe you should carry a few blank logs with you so you can do a little repair work while on your lunch break.
It is not a finders responsibility to perform cache maintaince. Since I have started I have add 3 or 4 replacement logs, but never felt like I had to.
And I would never put down a finder for not having a spare log. Some people dont have printers, some people are on thier lunch break. Some people just dont care. Im not going to give them guff for playing the game they want to.

There are virts in Disneyland?
They are the only good thing about that place.

I only see several ways to search by one criteria only.

THE LIMITATION HAS BEEN REACHED--A DUBIOUS ACHIEVEMENT
"This area can get swampy at times but there is no need to bushwhack or get wet to locate this cache."
Bwhahahahahahahahahaha
Gotta love toilet humor.

I just read a thread about caches in caves. And it sounds like something I would like to look for. Other than the Bat Cave (from the TV show) at Griffith park I dont know of any in the so-cal area.
Is there a way to search by a keyword and have the results show the nearest caches that relate to it? Im getting caches as far away as Florida when I search for "cave"

This thread has taught me a lesson. Dont post silly stories on this site because it will blow up like this thread. People will over analysis every sentence, and blow things out of proportion.

Go you your profile page. On the right hand side towards the bottom you will see this under 'Premium Features'
"Set Up Notifications"
Its easy peasy.
One landowners thoughts

Looks like she has made her decision:
As the landowner where this cache is located, and after much prayer and discussion I have collected this cache and am requesting it be archived as the person that placed the cache there in the first place did not acquire proper landowner permission to do so. Thank you.
edit: I didnt see the posts above, my bad.
