  1. Entering a percent sign (wildcard in SQL) in the search field yielded me 69,683 records.
  2. For cub scouts, check out the requirements for the Map & Compass Beltloop award. If you're teaching them *how* to geocache and not just taking them for a walk and exchanging toys, then the requirements will be a piece of cake.
  3. I took my son looking for a multi stage cache tonight and was suprised by where we found the first stage. It was coordinates and www.geocaching.org written in black marker on a dock in a park. Second stage... written on a boardwalk. Is this a normal and accepted way of doing this? Personally I see it as nothing more than graffiti.
  4. Sorry... I admit I didn't read the article. Now it makes sense. I guess it really doesn't matter how they take it from us. If the gov't decides they need more money they'll do it one way or another. How dare we find legal ways to not pay so much tax?
  5. But wouldn't the FTF just take the cache home? I might.
  6. I don't remember where I read it , but the "distance" is variable depending on how far you typically go to find a cache. For instance, if most of your caches are within a 25 mile radius from your home coordinates, then another state would be out of the question. However, if you frequently find caches several hundred miles from your home coordinates then it may be acceptable. Ultimately it will be up to the approver's discretion as to whether he/she believes you will be able to adequately maintain it.
  7. What's the difference If I have to pay by the mile or pay by the gallon (which we currently do)?
