  1. Website is up it's just *really* slow...
  2. This has to be the most obvious one we've done... GCXTPX
  3. I'm not sure which cache you're referring to but I did see this note on one of yours (GCH778)... Sounds like you have plenty of time to schedule some time to go remove your caches or to ask *nicely* that someone bail you out on this.
  4. I hoping someone in Virginia can help me locate a missing TB. It was picked up in May by Lady Catlett. I have sent a number of email messages through this cacher's profile, but have not received a reply and the TB has not been placed in a cache. If any of you know this cacher, could you please urge them to release this TB? Thanks.
  5. We love original hints. Here's some of ours... * GCNPVN How do you know if the elephant in your refrigerator is a female? By the pink nail polish. * GCQAQ3 [Hint 1:] Four Lil Elephants, oh what a sight! Swinging their trunks from left to right. Three are followers, and one is the king. They all walk around in the circus ring. [Hint 2:] The elephant has a trunk for a nose, And up and down is the way it goes. He wears such a saggy, baggy hide Do you think two elephants would fit inside?
  6. looks like a jeep and a toy space shuttle laying on a small poster or picture. What's wrong with that?
  7. We went after a cache today (GCW3TF) that was in a pretty residential type area. Parked near a sign that said "Elmwood Park", walked 1/5 mile down a paved trail then started hearing all kinds of duck calls. Apparently the duck hunters didn't like us interrupting their hunt. I really did not expect to encounter any hunters in this park.
  8. That's owned by jpgrfan - TB Page The part about MaxB on the River is on a tag attached to the TB? They're very active in moving TBs and attach tags to them to show they've had them in their possession.
  9. I can't speak for all 70 of them, but I checked the first 5 in their list and all of them had pictures in their gallery which exposed the tracking ID. I'd venture to guess that's how this user "discovered" them.
  10. I don't understand where a reviewer could deny this listing as long as your description describes the legal access methods. Heck, don't even mention the land access. Say it's only accessable by boat. Just make sure you bump up the terrain rating.
  11. Weird... I'm not sure how it got there but remove the space between "java" and "script" so it is all one word.
  12. This works... <select id="myURL" name="myURL"> <option value="url" selected>SELECT</option> <option value= "http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0884d739-d9c4-4811-a31a-f3181a7df65e"> puzzle</option> <option value= "http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=bb3c0a05-688a-4408-9a01-94c715579c19"> dejavu</option> <option value= "http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=62b55ae0-d433-4d7f-bc3e-c09fe2fb960e"> farther back</option> </select> <a href="java script:document.location=document.Form1.myURL.value;">Go</a>
  13. We had one that we dropped in Virginia while on spring break. It moved once before being picked up and brought back to Michigan where it was put in a cache 33 miles from home.
  14. Official MiGO collection... http://sigitemdb.mi-geocaching.org/
  15. roughly 3.14. or Poison Ivy
  16. Skunk bite?!? Um... Hope it wasn't carrying rabies.
  17. Looks like several cachers are using this cache to "store" their coins so they don't clutter up their inventory. As for the finds... my guess is they forgot to log them as notes.
  18. I believe he's talking about this one -> GCJ198
  19. I had a couple of "experienced" cachers comment negatively about one of our hides. That's fine. They are entitled to their opinion. I had others who commented on how much they enjoyed it. I have also commented a couple of times about caches. It irks me when multistage caches are done by writing coords on benches, signs, walkways, etc with permanent marker. One that we did like this was hidden by a new cacher so I suggested a few nearby multistages that they could do for ideas on ways to hide the coordinates without defacing public property. They thanked me and I didn't think anymore about it until this week when I did a new multistage they put out. I was thrilled to see that there was no grafitti on this one. There have also been some hides that I really didn't like the way it was done but I did not say anything. Like the one where the hider drilled a hole in a tree, inserted the cache, the put a branch over it to conceal it. Oops... I guess I've commented on that one now too.
  20. When I was a teenager I had a live trap like that hanging on my wall. A friend came over on day, saw it, said "is this real" and stuck his finger in it.
  21. I don't know about other companies, but OFF! is still using deet in its products. Check out http://www.offprotects.com/deet/
  22. Hmm... no fireproof swag? Wait... That means Geocoins can't be placed in caches in Kent County parks.
  23. I like it! Here's some ideas for improvement... 1) limit the number of characters allowed in each field to what you would expect 2) automagically jump to the next field when all allowed digits are entered in a field 3) allow for S latitude and E longitude
