This is something that I have been thinking about for a while. I also saw a similar post on /r/geocaching a few days ago.
I have run into a couple wet logs. On one occasion the container appeared to be OK, so I segregated the wet log into a new ziplock and placed a new log in another ziplock. That way if the owner wanted it for some reason, it was still there. Another one had only room for one, so I trashed the ruined one and replaced it. I would feel a little bad, but the cache had a maintenance request for over 2 months.
Lastly I found one the other day in a nice park and the whole thing was nasty and ruined. Didn't feel right, so I left it and reported it. It's apparently been reported for about 5 months. :|
I think I have come to the decision to add a log if I can, but not remove anything. I don't want to be 'that guy'.

How do you add photos right to the cache description, so they show up with the description?
this should help: http://www.geocaching.com/about/logging.aspx
you can also add after the fact if you go back to the page and look at your post.
cheers.
ah, i misread your q. shame on me. sorry!

howdy all, sorry if this has been covered previously.
i am curious, when i log a find, i can add photos. would it be considered bad form if they could give away some info? ie what the cache looks like, possible other spoilers, etc?
i have been taking photos of each find with the container and log and would like to continue to attach them.
help is appreciated! thanks!

I like the beta maps. Can't use it on my Droid running Dolphin HD, but I do like to use it at home. It's nice to see every cache in an area, so if I know I'll be in a different part of town, I can poke around and find a few nearby that fit what I am in the mood for.
I've never seen the popup come back.
