  1. Sorry - I missed that part. I just wasn't paying close enough attention! Okay - whoever did this is just an idiot. -----
  2. I just posted at that other thread you mention , and now I see this thread here! Pretty funny sequence. Anyway, I feel a positive vibe with WonderWoman, and I think she will make her first goal successfully. -----

  4. You could contact the cachers in Iceland and ask around.....Maybe it was placed in a cache but it just was not logged IN that receiver cache? I know this seems like a lame thing to do, but ya nevah nevah know. Luck may be on your side. -----
  5. I love this cache idea! How clever!! I am in PA, so I can't actually look for the cache myself. As I was bemoaning this fact, I thought of a way I can still sort of participate: I am willing to be the receiver of a "hand-off"* - if that ever becomes necessary.... nitefall, keep me in mind in case you think I can help. Just email me via the main geocahing site. I do occassionally travel west, so that's another plus. I am off to South Bend this month for example. * a "hand off" is when a bug moves from one geocacher to another geocacher without going through a cache -----

  7. I can POSSIBLY get to Up Marsh Creek in the next weekend. There are a few variables, which are too boring to enumerate, but the best part is this: I will be in the South Bend area on April 19. Is South Bend do-able for you? I imagine you have this Travel Bug in your watch list, so you will know if I am successful in finding the cache and getting WonderWoman. I may not remember to post it here (I'm bad at that.) -----

    Cache wish list

also see this thread, which strats with the post below. -----
  10. This is a good topic , so I decided to bump it back up on the list. How about it? Are there any that you know of in the PA NJ NY areas? -----
  11. How do you feel about someone placing a cache somewhere along or at the top of a climb? Are there things I am not considering here? (No, of course, I would not put it right in a handhold or anything silly like that. ) [This message was edited by MissJenn on April 04, 2002 at 08:34 PM.]

  13. I am lighter than an adult deer, and only have 2 legs compared to its 4. Should deer not be allowed in the outdoors because it leaves more impact? What was it that Aristotle said? "Everything in moderation, even moderation itself." -----

  22. by the way, I did (just now) find the ones that are found when you search for the word "climb" in the keyword.... are there others, though? [This message was edited by MissJenn on April 04, 2002 at 08:35 PM.]

  24. Caches are out there that require rock-climbing.... but I have not happened to find one yet. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? I'd like to place a cache at the top of a climb myself, but need to see how others have written the description. (and before anyone points it out, I might not have placed this post in the right category.... but I figured: what the heck? you'll forgive me, right?) ----- Nothing is foolproof because fools are so ingenious.
