Mossiegirl, Here is our website that accompanies the event cache listing. That might give you more ideas, too. -----

Definitely check yourself when you get back each time, but I don't think you need to be too, too worried about it. Check as much of your skin as you can see. I'm out in the woods a lot, but I've only ever had one tick on me - and that was a dog tick - so no lyme disease there. -----

May I suggest also posting an additional thread in the appropriate local section of this forum? You might have better luck that way. EDIT: And if you already did that, kudos to you! -----

The date for this page is generated by the "hidden on" field? Is that right? If so, I guess I need to let the owner know? This cache is listed for March 2002... As others have said and experienced, it matters little what you write as people will do what they want to do when they have your cache open right before them. * sigh * I have not been at this long enough to experience cache degradation personally - but I have heard a lot of stories of that sort. Perhaps I will be happily surprised! By the way, Reddfrogg, you might want to click on my profile. (i.e. the index card icon) -----

Some people even erase THOSE - especially when your footprints (in snow, especially) give away the cache location. Some people just make other tracks in the snow or ground, leading to so many places within the main area so that it's not a plain beeline for the cache.

From what I gather, the idea is that you would log this bug as "in" the cache and then grab it right back out. Yes, it would say that there is a bug in a cache, but only until the person grabs it back out within a few seconds or a fast minute. (at least, that's how I understood it)
