Kudos to you both! Are we given cart blanche to show this off to others? (park rangers and such?) -----

Thanks for giving it a shot, anyway, Brandon. I'm sure you made a valiant effort. I was thinking about you yesterday as I was in various airports flying home. The South Bend forecast was truly yucky. I feel hugely guilty that I did not give you hints! I did not count on the weather making it extra difficult for you. (Don't forget to log your non-find at that cache's website.) Here is the cache page and you can see my log there. I visited it after Tower Of Evil, i.e. after I already dropped WW off pictures to come

(I was too lazy to look it up on my own this time)

can you give me some town names or a zip code, by any chance? -----

then another idea would be to send him to island caches or underwater caches ... OR Is there a Squidward TB he could try to chase after? -----

She doesn't much like it there, since the cache container (Gladware) has deteriorated, so she and I both hope someone takes her out soon. You won't need any. It's a "drive and find."

rock climbing required to reach cache

Horse Droppings #1 is WAY harder than my cache will be .... no 2 day walk, for starters! but THANKS SO MUCH for the link, Hiemdahl. This board and this hobby are both so awesome: They allow me the pleasure of vicarious caches.... As has been said in many other places and times before: Jeremy, you da man! -

Well, Jeremy has often won the You Da Man award - given from the heart. See for example, here. -----

How many characters CAN I use on the web logs? ----- -
Not yet - I will probably do it tomorrow morning (Saturday). I will put a note on WW saying something along the lines of "She is waiting specifically for someone to pick her up and bring her to Chicago, so if this ain't you, leave her here." Sort of. But more polite than that. [This message was edited by MissJenn on April 19, 2002 at 02:32 PM.]

rock climbing required to reach cache
MissJenn replied to MissJenn's topic in General geocaching topics
Infrequent visits won't be an issue for me - not for this cache. My thoughts so far are these: - 1- I definitely don't want it to piss off the climbers in my area. - 2 - It will be a small cache (see #1) such that there won't be much room for trinkets. It might just be a logbook and pencil. Maybe one trinket at a time could fit in there, so # of visits is not so critical I will post it here once I get it all together. It has not been great climbing weather (nor good circumstances) for me yet. Soon, I hope! And, here's the link to Rising sun over Chicken Coop. -

We're all good now. I asked the cache owner to change the date.
