  1. Well, I wouldn't worry about it. It is not stipulated on the rebate form anywhere. I would make sure to tell them that if an issue arises. The form only requests the original upc codes and recipts of purchase.
  2. My friend was looking at a merigreen for 99 and he was getting the topo from another place and he read somewhere that they have to be purcjased on the same place. They have to be on the same recipt. However, for your sake, I hope is not true.
  3. make sure you by both at the same place, or the rebate is not honored. Also, I heard sam's club is offering both for $150
  4. I've been using a Meridian and alongside other GPSr's, it's always been faster, more accurate and locked solid. I don't upload any maps to it, so I can't comment on that feature, but as far as holding the signals and accuracy I give it high praise!! Ditto on that mark! I love my merigold!!
  5. sam's club has 128 mb card for $57.00. its a SD (secure digital)digital media card.
  6. I have a magellan meridian gold. I love it. It has waas capability plus its expandable to 128mb memory. I can get lock anywhere. I never lost lock in the woods and i even get signal in the house. As far as mapping, most gps has mapping software, but its really to just give you an estimate where you are. I would suggest printing out maps of the areas you plan on going to with your maptech software. National geopgraphics has adeventure paper out too that will not tear and is waterproof on their website to buy. www.topo.com
