If you have an old one in good shape I would buy from you OR, if you know where I can order one I would sure like to hear from you. I know I can probably get one from Company but sure would like to NOT have to wait 6-10 weeks Probably longer, to get it back, would rather do it myself. We are in need of any GPS's that work for our scout troup, Pack 154 Den 4 Red Bluff,Ca. Kids are sure interested and would like to have some outings to earn there patches. If you have any ones not in use even for a small postage price I would be glad to pay it and be able to let our Scouts learn about the GPS and give the chance to many kids who are not able to pay full price as others can. HELLO~Jamie I am a cub-scout leader. I am here in Red Bluff, California. I also have been trying to get any donations of just basic units working and have not received any responces, so i just been buying them one at a time. I have been able to collect 3 plus my 2 so far in 5 months.. I wrote a good begging letter and have given it to companies but not any responce yet. wish you were closer then we could share..

Congrads!!!! on your first cache, now what you have to look forward to---> This may be a little off topic but--- Does anyone know of a caching RE-HAB center? It has made me broke-(gas cost), Run up my credit cards- (buying swag & coins, units, PDA's) I need rehab and will admit it. Just send me the Cords and I will find it. I have a Garmin 60 (Just 60) and after have 4 other types of Garmins, have found 60 to be best for all around and cost wise. Does everything I need and I have been many times able to get within 4-5 feet of any cache. Which depends on who placed the cache and there cords they entered. I have been many times with 4 other cachers and all of us with different Units, and you can get 5 different readings, all within 20 feet of the cache with mine the closest. Many times this has happened, so I stick with my sweet ol basic 60. Also I have had 2 color screens and with the sun beating down on the screen I would much rather have a BW unit than color. Just my opion. ~~Cache-on!

[Well dont know if you have a STAPLES company out there but I have a 12 as a back up and I needed a adaptor cable just what you need, I got it there for $21.00 also there is a guy at- fulton@exwis.com He can make just about any cable you need for GPSers...Nice ones...with longer lines also.. Fantastic prices (Cheap) drop him an email and he can let you know, if you cant find anything else/ CACHE ON!!!

Yep we (my wife and I) got married 3 months ago. I picked out the place, church, because there was an easy micro in the parking lot. We went on our honeymoon in Washington. Near pen more park (2 multy caches nearby) Hummm. Where should out anniversary be???

I have a Palm Vx I bought here on this forum for $25.00 I had been using paper for 1&1/2 years.. (Man I had that paper down! I twice went out on camp-outs with my son with like a book! of paper logs) now I went paperless with the VX Palm. MAN-O-MAN! Why didn’t I do this sooner.. It’s a hard case and yes I have already dropped it down a cliff and it still works great. I have cachemate, Gsak working along with home PC MS-2000, working like a champ...last week-end went caching with my DAD, Son, ME -> 3 Generation cachers< already.... got stuck on about 7 caches and brought out the Palm, WAALAAA~~~1 minute, found them. and the wind was blowing like a Banshee and didn’t blow the Palm outa my hand like paper!!. Man goooo Palm!!!~~~~~~eyes~~

I am a Scout leader and looking to help cub's get there badge. I would like to PURCHES used units, older working. I been able to pick a couple up for $20&$25 and need about 5-7 more. Anyone that would happen to have an old one WORKING, sitting around (even if it has a couple small scratches) I would like to hear from you. I have found this forum to be the best place to buy things(GPS 2002,upgraded 2003, Palm 2007,stickers2007), I always check here first before ebay or bidz.com, I will spend sometimes a little more here but I feel I am with friends here in the caching community and would rather help out here by buying here than some muggle in ?? . I feel I been getting what I want for a fair price. (once a GREAT price) Barter system is great and doing it behind in emails is where I do it. I will ,if I see something I like ,I will email the person with a couple prices I found somewhere else and they have always come down. I have seen where a cacher has asked ,hehe lets say WAY more than like wallyworld and emailed them. Well sure if somebody would give me 10g's for my ol 72 Buick I'll sell it.. (just as fast as 800 would get it).(~Worth 200~) this makes me shop around and do the barter.. all part of a Garage sale I guess. anyway just my 2 cents. Also I got a Garmin 72 for sale $1200.00.

Not much information to go on. Has it ever worked before, or this this something new you are trying? Check to make sure your COM port is the same set, I had that also and had to change com ports..
