  1. I would like to put my seek list on there. How do I get invited to access it?
  2. While out on the road the last couple weeks. I tried to keep up with the forums when I managed to find WiFi, which wasn't often. So when I got back and brought that tub of mail home. The first thing I did was look for that wonderful package with the big bold letters from Team Sand Dollar. Thanks for the wonderful looking coins.
  3. Good lookin! Would love to trade with you. Lummieh aka Ole Woman of the Tribe
  4. Travis you have always done a great job in organizing the Cache Machines. You have done a great job on this one too. I am just really sad that we will have to miss this one. We are looking forward to the next one. Keep up the hard work .
  5. Okay... The SeabeckTribe most likely will NOT be making it to the cache machine . If we do make it over the cache machine, we will not be able to make the dinner. The cost would really cut into our pockets. I am looking for someone to take a TB that wants to attend events to the cache machine. I am looking for someone in the Bremerton/Silverdale/Port Orchard area who would be willing take it there.
  6. We didn't leave any, but ironman said "replaced the ropes with a better one. The fire hose is still there. The upper portion isn't good but the last section is still strong." But it can't hurt to bring extra. Good luck and have fun! You'll see part of the Tribe at the GHCM.
  7. Well we did it! We all (The Tribe & the Bears) got to OSORC on Thursday and started planning the route we would do after the Ring of Fire. Since no one else was going to do this cache on Saturday with us, we decided to do it on Friday. This way we could cache all day Saturday. If we waited till then to do the Ring of Fire, we would have had to sit around all day Friday. We were at 999 and didn't want to spoil our 1000th cache we had been planning for so long. We arrived at the area about noon and found some campers and thier site right where we had to walk through to the trail. We asked them if they would mind us cutting through their camp to the trail head and explained the reason. They had no problem with that. They were very interested in the story about how the train got there and Geocaching. We brought about 500 feet of rope with us to be sure we had enough and used about 400 of it. Half of the tribe and Papa Bear made the trip down. Naha Tyee gave her moccasins to Dancing Deer because we weren't going to let her go down in cowboy boots! So Naha stayed up on top with Lummieh. Ole Siam went part of the way down. He hasn't been back to this part of the country for a long time. He use to work at Camp Grisdale and remembered visiting this site more than once. In his younger years he fished the Wynoochee River many times by floating and wading through the rivers gully. Hyas Tyee, Little Bear and Dancing Deer, along with Papa Bear, made the trip down and back just fine. Nana Bear want to go down really bad, but just wasn't sure if she could make it back up. So she watch them decend from the top. Our computer stopped working, so we didn't get a chance to check our email or send ironman114 a message about doing the cache on Friday. When we got home we found out the he had made trip to the cache just after we left there. We were so disappointed about missing him. This cache is a must for those that like a challenge. Thank you ironman for placing and maintaining it. We will return to do it again! Our next challenging cache is the Mission 9: Tunnel of Light - Project Ape Cache on Snoqualmie Pass. But we are not going to wait for our 2000th to do this one. Maybe next summer.
  8. Thank you Loran for bringing my attention to this coin. I would have been really bummed if I had missed out on this great looking coin. I must have been out of town when it was posted in the forum. I think I have all most all your coins and can't stop now! Question??? Are the sets going to be indiviually number (all 6 coins with #1 or #2, ect) besides being trackable? That's just my personal preference. I like to know that my set is one of a kind with all corresponding numbers. I won't make a difference if they are or not because I'll get them anyway! Dianne of the Tribe
  9. Add the Seabecktribe (x4).............The drugged up Roy actually remembered you talking to him about this.
  10. At a flat fee $15 + tax/tip, this is very expensive for a family of 4. I am not sure that we could afford to eat there. This could be a little pricey for you if by chance there is not 100 people, however, in the past there as been very large group. I am not sure what the numbers have been at past event dinners. What about a community center or civic hall, that could be rented for a small fee and have a potluck?
  11. I keep getting "Action is not allowed" when I try to add a coin to my shopping cart. Anyone else having a problem? Or is it my blanky-de-blank computer?

  13. We have a lot at Ocean Shores Outdoor Recreational Club. It's only about 18 miles from Hoquiam/Aberdeen. It's located 1 miles north of Hogan's Corner (where you turn to Ocean Shores) and 1 miles south of Ocean City. Our 5th wheel is permanently fixed there. There should be enough room for a couple trailers/motor homes and several tents. The OSORC club house is just across from us. It has rest rooms, showers and a pool. There is no cost for anyone. It does have a security gate access. Pacific Beach is probably close to another 10 miles north of us. If you or anyone else is interested, just email us.
  14. I have some of those.... I'll have to get back to you in the morning with a list. I probably have around 6 to 12 coins. You can chose. Lummieh aka Ole Woman of the Tribe
  15. Great ideas on the rope. Pack-it-in & Pack-it-out. We heard that there are three stages to get down into the gully. The first with a rope and the second with the fire hose. Is there a third? Should we bring three seperate ropes just incase? Aproximately how far is this path down into the gully? Klossner mentioned 50 feet of rope at the first stage. How long is/was the fire hose? One of the things we are concered about is the gate. How far is it from the gate to the beginning of the path down to the cache? Not all of us have bikes and a few in the group won't have enough energy for the to walk to and from the gate. From what we hear it will take most or almost all our energy to get down and back up from cache. We are trying to round up enough bikes for all of us, but if the gate is open we sure don't want to have to bring all those bikes with us if there is no need too. Thanks to you all for the info. It sure help get us prepared. Lummieh aka Ole Woman of the Tribe and designated driver (And will be watching my fellow cachers descend from above!)

  20. If this is going to happen, a GC cache page should be be posted soon so it can get on the GC Event Calendar before someone else posts an event on that day. The tribe is looking forward to this. We have a large lot in Ocean City at Ocean Shores Outdoor Recrecational Club. If anyone would like to pitch their tent or camper there, you are more than welcome. Email us if you are interested.
