  2. Hello All,

I was wondering if any one has done the cache mach in GSAK. I was going to start on one, but I thought I would ask first. If not, I will post one by Wed or Thurs.

    Naha Tyee

    aka Lori

Yes, I've got one including including the 'stop' number (in the User1 field).

I can provide it for those that are intrested, and if they are a paying member of the site (since I got it via Pocket Query).

I would be very interested. We are paid members, so how do I go about. I also did a pocket query, but I know it will take a bit to sort through the many caches in the areas.

    Lori,

Maybe this will be easier for you.

Click this link for the CM Bookmark list

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Create Pocket Query button.

When you get the email, save the file you get to where ever you normally save it.

Open GSAK and create a new Database. Name it ECM.

Import the PQ file you just saved into the new database.

    Do your thing.

Okay....I just needed to study it a little bit more and I would have figured it out eventually. I really appreciate you help and all the work you did to create the files for us.

    Lori

  6. The 2006 Jeep 4x4 Form asks for your "Physical Mailing Address". But what about those (like me) that don't have a mail box at their physical address and only a PO Box? B)

Will they be shipped to the PO Box or by UPS to us? Or are we just out of luck!

Having our mail stolen and replacing 3 mail boxes because they were either battered by 2X4 swinging yahoos, stolen and ran over. I went to the safety of a PO Box.

  7. Looks great. The yellow looks better not only because it stands out more, but because it matches the kitty's eyes. For the tracking number, consider putting it just in the colour and not in a box.

Not a bad idea! Either way, as long as the number can be read without an electron microscope (ever noticed how they seem to be getting smaller and smaller? :D:D Not all of us have 20-15 vision!), we'll be happy :D This is a very nice coin; we're good for several.

Awsome looking coin! :D Now that I can visualize the shape of the coin.

I also like the yellow. Will this be "yellow" or "gold/bronze metal"?

Even with reading glasses and magnifying glass. :D I still have trouble reading numbers or is that a letter?

  8. We have the all of the Kirkland benchmark series geocoins, and the first in the benchmark geocoin and pin club.

    --Marky

I'd sure like to get the Kirkland series. Are they still available? :tired:

Also do you have a link for the Club?

    Thanks

If the benchmark coin and pin club that Marky's talking about is the one that started

with the Lewis & Clark BM ( trackable AND non-trackable ) then I don't believe that it is

open for general "joining" yet but pretty soon ( I could be wrong here, it may be already open ).

    ...

Just checked my e-mail, hogwildstuff.org has the benchmark club and joining doesn't appear to be open to the public quite yet. It appears as if they have sold out of the trackable Lewis & Clark BM coin.

They will be producing one benchmark coin ( a trackable version and a non-trackable version ) every two months. You will be able to do the normal thing and specify how many of each coin you want, etc..

Are the Kirkland coins the ones that have the geographical center of North America, of Australia, Four Corners, etc.? I'm starting to lose track of BM coins !

Thanks for the info. I don't know where I was when benchmark coins came out. I just recently found them.

And you know... I ordered the trackable and non-trackable benchmark coin from HogsWildStuff. I just couldn't remember from who and couldn't find the confirmation email in my mass of email folders! And I did ask about the benchmark coin group. Once again I didn't know it was one of the same.

I do have several 2" Benchmarks,

    Benchmark - Australia

    Benchmark - Four Corners USA

    Benchmark - Kealakekua Bay, Hawaii

    Benchmark - Lewis & Clark

Benchmark - Mt Rushmore National Memorial

    Benchmark - Pyramids of Giza

Benchmark - The Golden Spike (Promontory)

Didn't know that they were the Kirkland ones. Do you know how many were put out and who made them?

    Happy coin collecting!
