Hi, I'm new too I use my HTC Desire alongside my partner's Garmin and it does the job of finding caches very nicely. I do think the Garmin has better accuracy but not by much and as another poster said, being able to check details, search for nearby caches etc when 'in the field' is really valuable.

Apparently, Lundy Island is THE place to spot colonies of the Lesser Spotted Campanologist. MrsB Oh dear, that's some pretty dreadful press! It's true that bellringers tend to like Lundy, mainly because it's such a peaceful place - the bells on Lundy aren't exactly great so it's not for that reason alone that we go. I think there are quite a few geocachers who are also bellringers...I am one such person and my colleagues and friends are beginning to despair of all my geeky hobbies!
